Bills @ Lions Game Thread - 1st half

The coaching staff is pooping the bed.

 

Playing soft led to 2 Lions long yardage first downs or TD’s.

 

Lining up in a ***** shotgun at the 1 yard line when Allen can’t be stopped led to a false start regardless of what the refs didn’t see…then a missed FG by Bass who needs to be gone.

 

Then no Hail Mary attempt. Why not? I’ve seen the Bills burned by Hail Mary’s. The f’n coaching staff gave up.

 

The Bills should be winning by at least 14.

Homers take a hike.  Leaving points on the field against a 12-1 team, and being okay with it is pretty weak.

Bass made a 61 yard field that would have been good from probably 70….

 

but 2 secs left before halftime you run a screen instead of kicking it???? 
 

Obviously worried he would feel bad about not making a 66 yard FG. Jeez

stuffed still means you gain half a yard. Tush push is basically guaranteed half yard every time by design. Two plays to pick up one yard means the only call that should be made is tush push.

It feels like the Bills were unlucky to not score and the Lions were a bit lucky to score on some of those drives

There’s a good chance Allen was pulling the rope in the wrong direction there to be fair lol.  Although I can’t even fault him because he drew an obvious Offside.  He might have checked out of a run there

that's why they let the 10 second penalty happen and why the check into a screen was called

 

Get the ball in the second, score a td. The next time the lions touch the ball they are down 14

They had the ball first and goal at the 3 and did not score and they threw for 5 yards with no timeouts at the end of the half

Man, usually i'm not a big coaches fault but I'm legit irritated by this staff the last two weeks especially today. At least Stafford looked unstoppable and Nacua catches everything. We have stopped the Lions numerous times, and the Lions haven't really stopped us at all. We have stopped ourselves.

I’ve seen them get stopped at the line plenty.  I mean unless you’re talking about Philly who basically cheats with their center lol
