Italian Bills Posted December 15 Posted December 15 Going forward, what will be the Bills weakest point ? To me, our D-line is lately pitiful, but McD is most of the time concerning, soon or later you know that he’ll do something stupid, when the game is on the line, he never fail with some of his boneheaded decisions. ps don’t forget our “wonderful” prevent defense, always giving cushions to WRs, always exposed in the soft spot and with zero pressure and sack at the QBs. We need to play with no fear on D, not like dolls. 1 11 Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted December 15 Posted December 15 What is this the chicken or the egg? McD came first to the scene. He was instrumental in selecting (with Beane) our defensive players. For the most part they've under achieved against better opponents. This may be a cop out but it's a combination of both. And most fans (IMHO) are justifiably nervous going into the playoffs. 1 1 Quote

transient Posted December 15 Posted December 15 I hear the McDL is back for the holiday season - a combo meal featuring a JAG line rotation, lack of defensive creativity to be able to get a big stop against balanced offenses when they absolutely need to get off the field, and a side of head scratchingly bad game management decisions in the biggest moments belying the sphincter puckering that occurs in crunch time. 2 2 1 Quote

Does the McRib come with that? Quote

There was a rumor that McDonalds was going to donate the McRibs that they had set aside for the fans in section 105 at Key Bank Arena that were to be given away if the Sabres scored a 3rd period power play goal at select home games this season, but the stock turned over so slowly that they all went bad. 1 Quote

Pretty clear you really have only one point. 1 Quote

Maybe you got me… but hey, if the defense doesn’t put the game on the line very often, despite all the great Allen performances, McD wouldn’t have the chance to mess everything. Quote

He figured out his shortcomings and won 3 super bowls…. In Kansas City. 2 Quote
Baba Booey Posted December 15 Posted December 15 It’s McDermott! I just have no faith in his decisions when the game is on the line. The QB sneak (Rams game) was Brady’s call but head coach over rides all decisions. It’s on him! Josh Allen has at least one, maybe two Super Bowls with a well schooled coach. (Reid) 1 Quote
london_bills Posted December 15 Posted December 15 Should of added Tyler bass onto the voting. 1 Quote
Don Otreply Posted December 15 Posted December 15 It is more so the type of players that are drafted/ acquired through FA, than the head coach, but he does have a large influence on who is brought in, okay, it’s both…, 1 Quote

After reading the forums this week I am 100% confident in saying there are so many people here that don't know what a "prevent defense" is and how it's different from a zone defense. 1 1 1 Quote

BearNorth Posted December 15 Posted December 15 Chris Jones, Dexter Lawrence, Leonard Williams, Calais Campbell [38 yrs old] Cam Hayward all play more snaps than either Daquan or Ed O. Ed O is costing $9.7MM against the cap, Campbell is costing $2MM 1 Quote
