Rapp and Hamlin aren't really that good. Honestly Bishop and Ingram or whoever they put back there should do about as well.

Wouldn't it be nice if we still had Edwards on the team?

Bishop will be fine. He needs to get playing time.

I have really liked what I have seen from Rapp but Hamlin being out is a blessing. I have wanted to see Bishop or even Cam Lewis for weeks…didn’t really want to see both but this might be a good thing. My idea situation is Rapp and Hyde but let’s see what the young guys can do

Not sure playing Kincaid is smart if he needs a mega brace to play. Why rush it if he’s not 💯!

Because they feel he's healthy enough to play

McDermott is once again going to get exposed today when his defense (with guys he helped select) goes up against a top offense. Lions running backs and offensive line are legitimately going to be a huge issue. Our first round picks McDermott helped choose and praise a bit too much (Oliver , Rousseau) have been pretty invisible. Miller has been a non factor.

Allen once again needs to go off for us to have a chance. Issue is Lions have a "hunt knee caps" mentality and have been playing very dirty. I don't want Allen running in this

We'll be missing 3 of our starters in the secondary.  You think that will 'expose' McDermott?

Lewis will shine today

Would love to see Elam start and play well. Douglas hasn't been as good as he was last year. If Elam plays well Douglas might not start again...

Nothing about Elam's history here with McD suggests he gets the edge over anybody, good game or not.

Well, we might see the guys I peg as real athletes, elam and bishop starting today.  I hope they make some BIG strides towards fulfilling their potential today, cuz boy howdy are we gonna need it.

NOBODY  is 100% at this point in the season.  If he can produce without significant risk of re-aggravating the injury , he plays.  Full stop.

Coverage wise Hamlin and Douglas are starting to skip, having better athletes on the outside may help.

Doesn’t matter how average Hamlin and Rapp are. They’ve been in there getting reps all year in the scheme. The backups haven’t. It’s going to be very tough for them. Hopefully we can grab a turnover or two.
