IMO, this game makes or breaks the season. I’m not discounting the Pats* & Jets, but Win, and we’re the likely #2 seed. Lose and it doesn’t really matter. We’ll only get 1 home playoff game then have to travel all the way to the Super Bowl.

I'm fine with traveling in the playoffs. Our season ended the last 2 years at home and our offense is situated to travel well

Two things about the Lions that's a Bills killer for the most part...   They are talented and passing and rushing and they top that off with elite speed all over the offense.

Normally thats a recepie for disaster.   Md D is going  to have to scheme his ass off.

Allen keeps getting bigger and Edmunds stays the same age (still 20 years old).

Yeah those RBs look like a problem.

I do not see the Bills stopping the Lions offense so the question is can the Bills offense score more than the Lions?

I think its going to come down to... can we get turnovers?  can we control time of possession...if so we have a chance..if not we

lose.

My issue is the Bills problems have existed for a while. Slow starts. Bad run D. Bizarre play-calling at the end of tight games. Last week was not an anomaly - though we can throw in a struggling pass D as well, which is relatively new. Tonight isn't really about the seeding position, it's about confidence. Lose tonight, particularly heavily, and there will be more questions about the Bills post season chances.

Can we ease up on the Dline rotation? Let’s leave the better guys out there as much as possible. Maybe they can get into a rhythm and make more plays. I’d love to see Von Miller with more chances. Leave Von and Rousseau out there as much as possible. Maybe we can actually get to the QB

In January, 100%

This has always been the plan IMO.

So flip it around-do you see the Lions defense stopping the Bills?

the reality is they are 1 and 2 in the league in scoring (I believe) so it’s not like anyone has really been able to stop either offense

This is gonna be a fun game to watch. At the beginning of the year I had this one as a loss. And Detroit is one of if not the best team this year and they play even better at home.

So, feels like this week we are playing with "house money" and if we lose, so be it. But a win would be really nice.

House money? Man are you screwed

This game will be a lot like last weeks game......scoring in the 30's or 40's by both teams......the question will be if the Bills can get that one extra stop, or one extra hold to a FG instead of a TD, which will allow them to bring home a victory.

If they could've done that last week, they would have won the game......here's to hoping they can do it in this game.

Go Bills!!!

Alternate question might be if the Bills can come out the gate with a head of steam, or whether we'll be flat and off key for a few drives before we start rolling?

Good point. If Bills could get them on their heels early . that might be one of the keys to the game
