Allen and the bills win today, the MVP is Allen's Incredible day today Sry, No problemo I agree. Big day. This is a playoff rehearsal and they will bring playoff intensity... and Allen showing out and getting the MVP will be a nice addition to his career legacy. The Bills are showing up today and will not be pushed around in the trenches. 2 Quote
Ray Stonada Posted Sunday at 02:53 PM Posted Sunday at 02:53 PM Scary thing about this game is the Bills defense got fully shredded last week and now are missing Rapp and Douglas, and maybe Hamlin too. Meanwhile the offense gets Keon and Kincaid back but they scored 42 points last week anyway. Maybe this is the game to play some 4-3 to try and shut down the run, and tee off against an immobile QB with LB and CB blitzes. Bernard and Milano are fast and good in coverage, so why not. 3 Quote
Ray Stonada Posted Sunday at 03:03 PM Posted Sunday at 03:03 PM Here is Joe B's prediction: "Prediction: Bills 31, Lions 28 With the way these two offenses are playing, and especially without any weather concerns in the domed environment at Ford Field, I don’t think points will be tough to come by on Sunday. The Lions will challenge the Bills run defense early and often, and while I think the Bills will hold up better this week than they did last week, I’m still expecting a lot of production from the Lions ground game... Ultimately, I’m expecting this to be a back-and-forth showdown with plenty of offense. I think the Bills will have a response on defense from their Week 14 showing, and force Jared Goff into a couple of turnover-worthy throws. Whether or not they can take advantage will be the true determinant for the Bills coming away with one of the toughest road wins of the year." Quote
BritBill Posted Sunday at 03:03 PM Posted Sunday at 03:03 PM Looking forward to this. Another free hit before the proper games to end the regular season. 1 Quote

And Detroit is one of if not the best team this year and they play even better at home. So, feels like this week we are playing with "house money" and if we lose, so be it. But a win would be really nice. I can live with a loss so long as the Bills D shows up, and makes us a lot less nervous. 2 Quote

As much as people are getting on Oliver, they should also be asking Rousseau “where’s the impact?” He's in the top 10 for QB hits (19) and top 5 for tackles for loss (15). 1 Quote

With Rousseau, I need more of an impact on a game to game basis. He disappears far too much for my liking to entertain re-signing him at $25M/yr. There’s no way I would as GM. He has 19 QB hits, but did you know the vast majority of those came in 3 games? He hit Kyler Murray 3 times, CJ Stroud 3 times, and Mason Rudolph 6 times. When Beane drafted DEs back to back, his rationale for doing that was “we have to affect the QB.” That’s a direct statement. How did Rousseau do against the better QBs we’ve played? Tua (2 games): 1 sack, 1 QB hit Lamar Jackson: 0 sacks, 0 QB hits CJ Stroud: 0 sacks, 3 QB hits Aaron Rodgers: 0 sacks, 0 QB hits Patrick Mahomes: 0 sacks, 2 QB hits Matt Stafford: 0 sacks, 0 QB hits TOTAL: 1 sack, 6 QB hits He has gone against some subpar tackles as well, so you’d like to get more consistency game to game, especially against the better QBs in the league. The game today against Goff will be telling. 2 Quote

Can’t find the source, but pretty amazing and impressive kudos for Josh, Brady, etc. They’ve even gotten to 7 with injuries to key offensive skill players during the run. Oddly enough, the two highest scoring teams in league history (2013 Broncos and 2007 Patriots) both started the season with 8 game streaks of 30+ points and both failed to reach 30 points in their 9th game. 2 1 Quote
