He feasts on inferior teams. Parsons even if he were available is all wrong for buffalo. We disagree. Parsons is the best pass rusher in the NFL. But if that's your opinion I respect it. I personally don't like the idea of giving up a ridiculous amount of draft capital for a defensive player in today's NFL 1 Quote
Rubes Posted Friday at 03:38 PM Posted Friday at 03:38 PM Given the need to sign some key players to new contracts this offseason, I'm not sure I see the Bills going for another high-priced vet on the DL. For me, I'm wondering if this is the offseason that we see Beane go all-in for the defensive difference-maker in the draft. We need a game-changer, a Josh for the defense, and if he can get one on a rookie deal for 5 years, all the better. We have decent draft capital to move up. Could that be what he's thinking? 1 1 1 Quote

I also think we'll draft a DT high. Possibly 2 dts high Garrett/ Epenesa/ Solomon / K. Jonathan Oliver/ Carter/ Gaines as fa Jones/ high draft pick*/ Logue Rousseau/ Von Miller / Smoot/ Toohill I love your optimism, but......you're going to have to face it 1 Quote

Keep stacking draft picks and load up on young talent. I loved the Von Miller move and I still think he's going to help us win the super bowl, but with everything being considered it backfired from a cap standpoint and wasted years in half of 22 & 23.... We are basically paying all that money for this year and playoffs. That's obviously a risk that didn't work out. When you think about that scenario again but losing 2 number 1 draft picks, it's a hard pass on trying to get Garrett or Crosby. We can build a great defense with all the picks we have. thronethinker Posted Friday at 04:17 PM Posted Friday at 04:17 PM Why not just draft young talent? Why spend money on big names at DE when the player is only on the field a 1/4 of the game at most and can ruin a season with an injury. Example.. Von Miller, Mario Williams.. Quote
stuvian Posted Friday at 04:49 PM Posted Friday at 04:49 PM I will cherish the fact that we are a destination for FA pass rushers looking to add hardware to their trophy case Quote
Chicharito Posted Friday at 04:51 PM Posted Friday at 04:51 PM I usually agree with draft and develop. But our draft history with DE’s isn’t ideal. Roussou imo isn’t even top 25 in the league. Epenesa good rotation piece I would like to see get more playing time. we know what happened to boogie. I don’t even think he’s in the league anymore. Maybe a trade would solidify the position. Who know after we win the superbowl this year players will take pay cuts to play here. Quote
