Is there such thing as a "good" one or is it all pretty much the same?

 

It doesn't exist where I live and getting it shipped in is difficult at best. since it's already suck a pain for me to get I was wondering if there is something I should be looking for specifically that's better than others.

If you do not insist on Polish heritage, comparable cherry liqueurs I like are Luxardo (Italian) and Heering (Danish). They are clearly better than the bargain brands (e.g. Jelinek).
