Meanwhile, the WNBA isn’t interested in straight white women being the face of the league (remember people like this Mystics co owner exist in all walks of life and in business - good luck to the white folks working for lunatics like this)

The readers added context to that tweet is awesome.

Well when the face of the league went from someone like Micheal that just played ball and then Koby not being with us any more the torch was passed to  Lebron and his brilliance in politics and running his mouth about it what did they expect ?

Athletes need to just shut up & do their jobs and let us enjoy games for the entertainment that we use them for to get away from the real world for a minute with out any ignorant distractions from the likes of a Lebron or the brilliant chick that played soccer .

If they leave the future of their respective leagues up to the likes of these people this is what happens when those with a bit of common sense get fed up with the narrative these "Sports Stars" push on the younger kids and others watching them closely .

What irks me is that Lebron grew up in a single-parent family, yet he married his HS GF and is still married with kids.  Obviously he saw how hard it was growing up and how much better it is for his kids.  He'd be the perfect person to tell the black community that having kids being born to single mothers (~75%) is unacceptable.  But he won't do it because of the damage it will do to his "brand."

Honestly feel bad for Caitlin Clark.

The league hates her.

Theres nothing she can do to change that.   She tried to extend an olive branch in the TIME interview, only to push away many of her fans and then somehow make players/owners attack her even more?

The league will never have mainstream success, even if the product improves, because they are basically the black female/leftist lesbian version of the UFC.

UFC gets away with being overtly political because the product is good, they built up a ton of following before going down this path and its fanbase is 90% men, and men typically lean right.

WNBA cannot succeed with only lesbians and activist women watching.  And they have zero desire it seems, to extend beyond that.   Anytime they attempt to, as this past week shows, the league pushes back and cements itself as an activist leftist sports league…. With a bad product to offer in exchange.

The NBA keeps it afloat, but if the NBA is even in a death spiral, zero chance the WNBA can succeed… even when they’ve been handed their Michael Jordan on a silver platter.

Phony load management. Too many chuckers and dunkers. No mid range game. Overreaction from bench players and announcers obnoxiously cheering routine chucks and dunks. “Dramatic” repetitive end game stops lost its edginess. I still watch.

The NBA social messaging who cares. The WNBA, whatever. Wonder if they have room for one more in the car:

…..I’ll show them tiny.

I don't think the NBA problems are much related to being woke as the fact that league has turned into a league that is only good at shooting. I saw a graphic showing the Celtics, I think, and their shot selection was all three or layups for an entire game. That is not fun to watch IMO. I am very interested to see what happens if the TV ratings don't rebound, because players will have to give up some money.

Don't worry, no need to be shedding tears regarding the NBA "woes". Their new TV deal is worth $76 billion, $52 billion more than their last one.

Clearly my $119 League Pass is tipping them into the black.

He proved a lot to me when he left Cleveland the first time that showed me enough about his character and that is where it all started for me, if he would have stayed and let the team build around him he (I think) would have had maybe a couple more championships & still made a S**T ton of money but he didn't care .

To him it was all about the money screw your home town ! Then when he came back & did win he once again went to the highest bidder, he doesn't care about any one but me, me, me, and my brand like you said .

Even if it means cozying up to a communist country in order to keep his money flow coming in . He and some people compare him to M.J. and he couldn't hold M.J.'s jock strap while Micheal showers after a game !! But he will be in the HOF but i'll never see his bust in there because i just don't care for him .

And if i ever did go to the BB - HOF and walked by his bust i'd turn my back to it just because i'm that kind of guy ...
