Planning on being in the shop to pit the finish on my circular wall mirror and start rough milling some cherry for two tables. What are your plans for the day?? So my guess is you are not serving in the active military nor a military veteran. The NCAA and networks feature Army Navy game each year and this will be the 125th time this game is played. For many of us, this is a key sporting event of the year, never mind the weekend. Sorry to inconvenience you. Edited December 14 by freddyjj 1 1 Quote
boyst Posted December 14 Posted December 14 Today is only for the army Navy game. Nothing else matters but this a tradition 3 Quote
paulmm3 Posted December 14 Posted December 14 The Sabres play today. I don't know if that makes it a better sports day or a worse sports day with how the team is looking recently, but it's a thing. 1 Quote
jcamm1966 Posted December 14 Posted December 14 Well here in Columbus next weekend should be a hoot, If they lose to the Vols, I'm not leaving the house. 2 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 14 Posted December 14 Just the usual. 20 reps of bench pressing 320 pounds. Single max deadlift of 400 pounds. Change the carburetor on my thunderbird. (Or maybe, in actuality, making homemade pizzelles. 😃 ) 1 Quote

Sorry to inconvenience you. What would happen if Army makes the CFP, I wonder.. Game is scheduled for this week every season, right? Would they just have to forego the pseudo bye week for their opponent? Id imagine Army would be ok with that to play this game, in this slot. Edited December 14 by SCBills 1 Quote

Its amazing they are not playing today because of the army navy FCS level game. Yep. Army Navy should be earlier, then a couple NFL games later in the day. I think they used to do this in the 80’s and 90’s. 1 Quote

The law states there can be no professional football games on Friday nights after 6 p.m. or any Saturday from the second weekend of September through the second weekend of December. Quote

I want to watch the Crosstown Shootout between Xavier and Univ of Cincinnati, but it’s only on ESPN+. I’m not adding any more streaming services just because I’m told I need them to see a game. Therefore, this game is indeed unwatchable, and I’m kinda pissed. Third game in a row on ESPN+ that I am missing. When Big East Conference games start almost everything is on FS1. I’m for player freedom and reasonable compensation, but between NIL, the portal and the annual upheaval to the roster, I just care less than I can ever remember. 1 1 Quote
Steptide Posted December 14 Posted December 14 Cuse plays Georgetown today, which 15 years ago would've been an amazing rivalry game. Now it's like D3 schools playing 1 1 Quote

Baseball, golf with a low level field since the weekend before you had the British open. Someone might have some CFL games Quote
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted December 14 Posted December 14 Went for about 7 miles on a walk, ate a meatball sandwich for lunch, show my wife a good time between the sheets (and I'm 61). Typical day. 1 Quote

WotAGuy Posted December 14 Posted December 14 OP is obviously oblivious to the Detroit-Michigan showdown in women’s college basketball. Detroit down 27 but poised for epic comeback….unless Michigan has a bunch of dudes on their team. Quote
