This story is odd to me because I am quite certain the US government is lying but I can't figure out why. I understand there are times it is necessary for the government to mislead the public, at least for a short time, but usually the purpose is obvious, with this one I have nothing.

Agreed.

Just today we have the Senator-Elect from NJ and former Maryland Governor ringing the alarm.

If for nothing else, at some point, someone will shoot at these things.

Then what.. an SUV or bus sized object falls out of the sky into a house like Donnie Darko?

We know they’re lying to us.  You can’t tell us you don’t know what they are, where they’re from, whose they are, what they’re doing BUT also tell us they pose no danger.  That doesn’t make any sense.  And they know we know they’re lying, yet they keep lying.

On the 5% chance they’re not lying… well, then that’s legitimately terrifying.

They got to keep maga wrapped up in conspiracy theories. Bunch of idiots.

The drones are real, why do you think it is a conspiracy theory?

Ya know I was going to reply to him but then I remembered he is an admitted troll.

I've got a feeling that when the facts are known about this, a few people who think the US gov is behind this are going to feel silly.

Want to keep a secret?

Note how they do this?

Look at the F-117 project and operation Constant Peg at Tonopah Test range.

That's how these things are done.

It’s not that they are behind it. It’s the clueless Alfred E Neumann routine. With no identifiable person in charge these days, it’s no wonder citizens have concerns.

It's a head scratcher for sure.

If they aren't actively involved, I'm willing to bet they know who is, and based on some of the reports, there seems to be a reasonable assumption that there is at the very least a safety issue relative to shared airspace, if not an actual national security concern.

Which to me at least, begs the question; why isn't more being said/done?

I'm trying to come up with a reasonable explanation and I keep coming back to some commercial grade testing or some hobbiests having a lark.

I don't think its an airspace conflict issue or there would be far more action.

The FAA would be far more aggressive if there was conflict.

They clearly know what these are.  Why not let the country know too?  I can't think of a reason that's good.

Your statement is an assumption, so your question/challenge is meaningless.

Have to take these videos with a grain of salt, but she seems somewhat reputable..

The end of the video is wild.

news nation had a reporter with Ocean county police drone pilot. Says the drones don’t emit heat like normal drones.  8-10 wide with multi colored lights. Wild times

That's why I question the veracity of the reports. It's hard for an untrained, casual observer to tell direction, size, etc. They may not be over an airport for example.

You probably being a flyer saw they finally determined the navy videos of the UFOs around San Diego were likely explainable via parallax effect.
