I have to admit that I still can't get two Bills players straight in my mind:

#43 Terrel Bernard

#47 Christian Benford

For one thing I still haven't gotten used to the new numbering scheme. In my rusty worldview, 43 is not a linebacker number (although those as old as me will remember #32 Mike Curtis, an all-pro linebacker for the Baltimore Colts).

And the names are too similar for my addled brain to sort out.  I think (again, for the older crowd) that I'm still confused because of the famous surgeon who performed the first heart transplant, Christian Barnard, and I have that name stuck in my head. But that was back in 1967 so by now... well never mind. I forgot what I was going to say.

Anyway, Go Bills!  And Go Heart Transplants!

Last week I called out Josh Allen's name during relations with my wife.

I hope he doesn't think I'm cheating on him.

I just say "Oh God" which is more or less the same thing.

Nah.  They're different.  God took Sunday's off.

For me it was Tremaine Edmunds and Tre'Davious White.

It's the Tre in common. Both first rounders, selected in consecutive years.
