frostbitmic Posted December 11 Posted December 11 Outside of Bills games, I haven't watched an overseas game. This will be no different unless it's the likely Bills home game. 1 Quote

I'd be ok with an overseas SuperBowl. 99.9% of common fans can't afford SuperBowl tickets anwyas and are watching from home. The crowd is always celebs and corporate folks anyways. yeah who cares where the SB is.. i'd rather watch in a Bills bar with a couple hundred real fans 1 1 Quote
Sojourner Posted December 11 Posted December 11 1 hour ago, chongli said: Yeah, the NFL wants money, but that is what Goodell is paid to do: make money for the owners. Also re your comment on the SB on PPV: the NFL would lose money because less people would see it This is what Google AI said: "The NFL is unlikely to make the Super Bowl a pay-per-view (PPV) event: Fan response A Harris Poll survey found that only 28% of NFL fans would be very likely to purchase a PPV Super Bowl. 68% of NFL fans said they would try to find a way to watch the game without paying. Impact on the NFL A PPV Super Bowl would likely lead to piracy and have a negative impact on the NFL. Free-to-air TV The Super Bowl is the most-watched live TV broadcast, and it's unlikely to be exclusively on a streaming service for the next 20 to 25 years" If they ever made the Super Bowl or playoffs as a whole something that is essentially P2V I hope the majority of the NFL fan base boycotts the product. Yeah, it’s all about money at the end of the day but the amount they make from TV, extra game and merchandise sales from those who do make the playoffs, it’s absurd that something which should be giving back to the fans becomes something the fans have to shell out even more for. 1 Quote

US Egg Posted December 11 Posted December 11 I don’t care what else the NFL does with their product. I don’t mind paying to watch games that aren’t in my local broadcasts. The cost is cheaper than going to a game. As far as paying for playoffs or SB’s, that ain’t happening anytime soon. Were it to reach a point I feel ripped off, I opt out……and go to my kids. 1 Quote

This made me wonder: what would be good overseas locations for games a Bills fan would like to do a road trip for? Paris? London? Barcelona? Madrid? Rome? Beijing? Tokyo? Dublin? Berlin? Munich? Frankfurt? Sydney? Perth? Brisbane? Brussels? Antwerp? Lisbon? Cairo? Mexico City? Edited December 11 by chongli Quote
