Yes, I gave you an eye roll. Had to do it. Now let’s see if we can get it up to a bakers dozen! 😂

If they don't win a Super Bowl during the Allen era, it will be a tremendous failure. I know the drought was brutal, but this attitude of "Everything is gravy as long as I get to see them win an occasional playoff game" is maddening.

Did people really take the Jets and Dolphins that serious?

Miami has made the playoffs in recent seasons since the Bills have played them. So, I thought they would be competing for a playoff spot and possibly the division just like last year. On paper the Jets looked like they had a strong team that was poised for a good season. I wasn't surprised Rodgers declined given his age, coming off a serious injury, and his last year in GB his stats also declined. What did surprise me was the Jets defense didn't play anywhere near expectations and Breece Hall didn't have a great year either.

It’s also a terrible mindset to be in, we have zero control over if they win a SB or not.

We have all the control over how we take in the Allen Era. Bills should have a ring by now, they don’t, but I don’t look at that season as tarnished. It was freaking amazing.

Not winning a ring this year (which takes more than a good football team) won’t tarnish this season either, which may be the best team we’ve ever seen.

KC, PIT, or BAL. Most likely it would be one of these teams. I don't think anyone else would.

Depending on your age, from a league-wide dominance standpoint, that would be the early 90's Bills. They were loaded with future hall of famers and they beat other dominant teams routinely with the exception of the SB's. I would say at this point Allen is the best football player the Bills have ever had, hands down, but this is nowhere near the best Bills team we've ever seen.

McD shows again that he and Beane know how to shape a roster.  As most tend to not consider, we have over $30M in dead cap this year through the Diggs deal, and we are still a top 5 team in the league.  Recent loss considered, this team has everything in it to make a Super Bowl push.  Are we the clear #1 team in the league?  No.  However we are absolutely in the conversation.

Allen has taken a step and finally understands that he doesn't need to force a big time throw every play.  The Rams game showed it - He was able to take what was given to him, make a few wow plays here and there, and end up putting up 42 points.

We have a true run game to leverage in certain situations

We haven't allowed a sack in the last 3 games

There are absolutely areas to improve on... but this team continues to show why it is in the top tier of the league and has been for the past 5 seasons.

Well, I agree he is the best Bills player, but not necessarily "hands down". You have to include Bruce and OJ in the conversation.

D-line being the biggest one. I don't know what the upcoming draft looks like for D-line men if it's a strong one or not. The Bills do have a lot of picks in the upcoming draft. If Beane can improve the D-Line in the draft, then I think that would put the Bills over the top and a Super Bowl championship would be coming to WNY.

Totally agree, but would give the nod to Bruce for now. Josh playing QB is more impactful, but DE is still a big time position and he’s looked at as either first or second all time by basically everybody.

The 90’s are also why this current iterations Wild Card victories and the fans that celebrate them like championships is just infuriating to me.

This franchise has probably the best non championship run in the history of the major US sports. It’s about a championship. We have everything else. Nothing can make this team better than those 90’s teams without a Super Bowl.

I had an internal debate about whether or not to say it so emphatically. The thing that made me include it is the fact he's 28. We look at Bruce and OJ through the lens of the entirety of their career. If Allen's career ended tomorrow, I'd still say he's the best football player the Bills have ever seen. Hopefully, with Allen, the best is still yet to come.

Enjoying the ride. The season has been the most fun since 2020 and the young players emerging has been a pleasure. End goal is always the same but I genuinely feel bad for people who can't enjoy this.

I think our playoff D woes (I can't find the stat, but there was a graphic I saw that showed our playoff D gives up like 15-20 more points per game than our regular season D over the last 5 years) could derail things.

If our defense can at least be average in the playoffs and Josh and the O stays on, I think we can go far. If we have anything close to the Rams game, we're probably not getting out of the divisional round. Again matchups matter...so I guess it also depends on who we end up playing in the playoffs.

There was a clear progression of that 90's team. We knew in 88 and 89 that was a team on the rise. The heartbreak of those playoff losses in those seasons fueled the SB run the next 4 seasons, and then you could see them tailing off throughout the rest of that decade after that last SB appearance.

I remember watching Kelly throw an INT on the goal line against Miami that was returned for a TD in either '95 or '96 and it was so clear. It was a BAD decision for most QBs due to the small window, but one that would have been a Bills TD so many other times during his career because of his arm strength, his moxy, and his accuracy. But the arm was gone and the glory days were over.

That's what scares the ever-living-***** out of me with this iteration of the Bills. They're sooo much fun to watch, and Allen is such a once in a lifetime talent, but one day we will wake up and it will be over. If the Bills don't take full advantage of this once in a lifetime gift it will be criminal.
