I also have this weird, wonderful feeling that this may be the year. I have not had this vibe since the 90's. It's almost like destiny for our team. 4 Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted December 11 Posted December 11 (edited) We have a fantastic roster. I don't understand why ppl keep saying this It's not perfect. But it's pretty damn good Edited December 11 by Kelly to Allen 2 1 Quote
Success Posted December 11 Posted December 11 I'd love the 1 seed - but what a season. We were such an afterthought in the offseason, and even I (hopeless homer here) had some doubts. Then, that 1st half against the Cards - I was like, well, looks like everyone was right. In many ways, this looks as good as any team we've had. And it's just a fun, fun season - Allen keeps raising the bar on himself, each & every week. It's just a blast to watch, even when we lose games like Sunday. 1 Quote
US Egg Posted December 11 Posted December 11 Didn’t expect 2024 to look this good. Would have been happy with a repeat of 2023 regular season results. 4 Quote

But it's pretty damn good It’s the knee jerk reaction from the rams game mostly…which didn’t even look like we treated it like a playoff game anyway tbh. Josh had opportunities to run in the first half and prioritized his health and trusted the defense to get some stops (probably shouldn’t have done that second thing 😂) Milano would’ve gotten pulled for Williams in a playoff game too I’d think but we seem to be prioritizing trying to get Milano up to speed for the playoffs. Kincaid and Coleman likely would’ve both played through injury if that was a playoff game too I don’t even think we lose to Stafford/nacua’s best shot if we played that game under playoff conditions Edited December 11 by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 1 Quote

I don’t think 3 is super bad either but 4 is awful 1 Quote

Opinion D has always been my opinion as well, at least the last 3 years. Once we won a couple AFC East titles all I cared about is getting in the playoffs and advancing. I also think there’s a bit more pressure on the Bills if they get the Chiefs in Buffalo. Going to Arrowhead they can play loose. Edited December 11 by Buffalo_Stampede Quote
Dr.Sack Posted December 11 Posted December 11 E: as in… young draft picks stepping up when given chance WR Keon age 21 rookie B+ great season till Poyer S Bishop age 22 rookie D not much impact, ST play seems good ED Solomon age 23 rookie C 2 sacks earlier this season DT Carter age 24 rookie wrist injury jinx - high variance RB Davis age 25 rookie B dominated Jets game then LB Dorian age 23 year 2 A flies to the ball & doesn’t do any Rapp level friendly fire TE Kincaid age 25 year 2 C Seems injury prone and is a very old guy CB Elam age 23 year 3 C 2 picks in playoffs on pace for Woodson’s playoff INT record 9 ED Rousseau age 24 year 4 B Still younger than some rookies & year 2 guys - great against run, good enough against pass, due to Oliver drop off needs to be more dominant as a pass rusher 1 Quote
Sweats Posted December 11 Posted December 11 At the beginning of the season, most people had written this team off and figured we'd never even sniff the playoffs this year, however, it ends up a 5th straight AFCEast title (it helped that the rest of our division was complete shite), JA is Mr. MVP (should be anyways) and our young roster has stepped up to compete (most times) and people are still complaining. I've wallowed in too many inept, disastrous years of trash from this team to ever allow me to come down on where we've been, where we are and where we're going. Just...enjoy...the...ride. 4 1 1 Quote
Bills!Win! Posted December 11 Posted December 11 It’s amazing how there is always 1 eye roll reaction on positive threads. This place is so negative 5 3 Quote
KCNC Posted December 11 Posted December 11 Their entire defense was healthy this past week and got rolled. We will have to just outscore everyone in the playoffs. Bills are entertaining but will break our hearts again this year unfortunately. 1 2 1 1 Quote

This is true to a point.......i think if we can take leads early and force the opposition to abandon their game plan and just continuously chuck the ball downfield, our D will feast on turnovers. I think McD's D is built to this exact scheme, however, when we have to play gritty and dirty ball, our D with their "bend, but don't break" motto folds under pressure against good teams that know how to exploit it, sitting in our soft zones and running the ball up the gut. 2 Quote

First time they scored over 30 points. Horrible on 3rd downs. I think there's a really good possibility they lose again this week, but Imo it's not a bad thing. It sucks in the moment, but it's good prep for the playoffs 1 1 Quote

With Josh the goal is to win a Super Bowl. B. Agree somewhat but like you said a lot of our young players are stepping up. C. Until he wins or gets to a Super Bowl then fans will call him out for his playoff failures. D. Bills are 0-5 on the road in the playoffs under McDermott. Getting the #2 seed is important E. Agree F.
