Big Turk Posted December 10 Posted December 10 (edited) I was starting to really like this kid...he had been coming in and playing really well in the games I watched recently... Just a devastating injury... Knew it was serious when they showed him on the turf with his leg sideways and he couldn't even get up... Prayers up for a speedy recovery... dollars 2 donuts Posted December 10 Posted December 10 This is terrible, but you'll be back, kid. Oh and I am very envious of the Cowboys that they even had such a talent. 1 Quote

Sierra Foothills Posted December 11 Posted December 11 And he was looking like a future superstar. Such athletic ability... just in the last few weeks he was really coming into his own. I hope he can overcome this catastrophic injury. 1 Quote
Sojourner Posted December 11 Posted December 11 Adrian Peterson is the only athlete I can think of who came back and succeeded after tearing multiple ligaments in a knee. That’s shocking and tragic for the guy. Prayers up! 2 Quote
Sierra Foothills Posted December 11 Posted December 11 In the 2003 Fiesta Bowl while playing for Miami against Ohio State, Willis McGahee tore his ACL, PCL, and MCL. He went on to a really good 11 year NFL career but he was not the same player he was pre-injury. 2 1 Quote

I know a lot of people don’t like to quoth the Raven but I always liked his game. Guy was a monster for that Canes team. Think they definitely go back to back titles if he doesn’t get injured. 1 Quote
Brand J Posted December 11 Posted December 11 There was a draft video circulating at the time where Beane was targeting two LBs in the 3rd. One was Dorian Williams as we know because he was selected, the other was rumored to be Overshown. 2 1 Quote
QB Bills Posted December 11 Posted December 11 Tough break for the guy. Side note, with a last name like that, he just has to play for the Cowboys right? Quote

Second nastiest thing I've seen live in sports after the Clint Malarchik incident where I passed out. Edited December 11 by Big Turk 1 1 Quote

So he will have a completely reconstructed right knee and a reconstructed ACL in his left knee. Also is expected to probably miss the entire season next year as well and not be ready til the 2026 season. Edited December 11 by Big Turk 1 2 Quote

Henley and Simpson went right after each other, and then Overshown and Williams a few picks later, right after each other. As soon as they said The Pick is In, I was pretty sure the Bills picked Dorian, basically by process of elimination. Overshown was a former safety, tall and rangy, but everyone said he would need time to figure out the position. Now this. I feel for the guy. 2 1 Quote

Hence the prior post I made: 2 hours ago, Sojourner said: Adrian Peterson is the only athlete I can think of who came back and succeeded after tearing multiple ligaments in a knee. 1 Quote
