I can name about 15 totally other improbable losses off the top of my head that the OP didn’t even name. So many. And it’s always us beating us. See: MNF: Dallas, Cle, NE just to name a few. The names and faces change, the idiocy does not Just now, Jauronimo said: They do. The Chiefs have 12 wins which will go down as uncanny losses for their opponents this year alone. These are games chiefs were SUPPOSED TO WIN though… when we’re supposed to win. We find a way to, well… get billsy. Quote

Which is shameful Yeah...they are always losing...what a clown take. You say a lot of nonsense that avoids discussing what I bought up and then you deflect with something else. We haven’t been an underdog frequently during the Allen era. When Buffalo loses, they’re beating themselves. Sans the Baltimore game, which save one dumb offensive play call could have gone the other way, and the cinci playoff game. We haven’t been beat soundly since that game that we didn’t lose ourself due to ***** clock management or a botched snap or… you get it, you watch the games… Quote

Teams are going to lose. Good teams more often than not lose because of dumb stuff they do versus other teams actually beating them. I'm not sure how this is some sort of revelation. Quote

Doc Brown Posted December 10 Posted December 10 (edited) 1 hour ago, DeltaDigital said: nobody loses in the ridiculous fashion buffalo consistently loses. Sure teams lose in dumb ways, but not as consistently as we do. the nonsense goes back as far as I can remember and probably further than that. They just so rarely go the other way, in our favor. Bills record in one score games including playoffs under McDermott: 2017: 6-3 2018: 3-3 2019: 4-6 2020: 6-1 2021: 0-6 2022: 7-3 2023: 7-7 2024: 3-2 Overall: 35-31 Bills don't lose often. When they do it's usually in one score games where every coaching decision will usually be ignored if the Bills win but magnified if the Bills lose. It's just the way it is when you're a perennial contender. Edited December 10 by Doc Brown 1 1 1 Quote
Steptide Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Kinda makes Ya nervous if they do actually get to a superbowl. They play great but in the end they lose 😬 1 Quote
Bob in STL Posted December 10 Posted December 10 2 hours ago, 2003Contenders said: The Bills have been on the losing end of what could arguably be called the "game of the year" (regular season) each of the last 5 seasons, and the similarities are uncanny. All 5 games: -- Came against NFC teams. -- Josh played lights out in all 5 games. -- All of the games were decided by a single score -- All games essentially ended on the final possession. Indeed, 3 of those 5 games went into overtime. Let's look back.... 2020 Week 10: the infamous "Hail Murray" game. Josh passed for 284 yards and 2 TDs. He also rushed for 38 yards AND CAUGHT a 12-yards TD pass. 2021 Week 14: the overtime loss to the Tom Brady-led Bucs. After a slow start, the offense explodes in the 2nd half overcoming a 3-TD deficit. Josh passed for 308 yards and 2 TDs and tacked on 109 rushing yards along with a rushing TD. 2022 Week 10: the overtime loss to the Vikings thanks largely to insane catch made by J. Jefferson on a 4th-and-a-mile conversion. That was inexplicably followed by a fumbled exchange between Morse and Josh in the endzone, which the Vikings recovered. Josh was still able to tie the game with mere seconds left -- but ultimately lost in overtime. He passed for 330 yards and rushed for 84 in that game. 2023 Week 12: this was another overtime loss that was set up at the end of regulation where Elliott made good on a 60-yard field goal in the driving rain. Josh passed for 339 yards and 2 TDs, and added 81 yards rushing in that game. 2024 Week 14... Well, we all know about this one against the Rams. All of them exciting games that unfortunately went the wrong way. Josh racked up 400+ total yards in 4 of those 5 games -- and caught a TD pass in the other. Now, here is the GOOD news. In years 2020-2023 those games would all serve as the Bills final loss of the regular season, as the team would go undefeated the rest of the way! Here's hoping that this latest misstep follows suit! The Bills beating the Chiefs has been the game of the year so far. 1 Quote

PonyBoy Posted December 10 Posted December 10 To the disgust of many on this board I'm sure...I'm a Red Sox fan. They were in 4 world series since 1946 & lost each one in 7 games. Infamous, but when they won in 2004, the jubilation & relief was incredible!! The Bills obviously have a lot of infamy, but if they can get that one ring, you'll know what I mean! It will take a lot of pain & ridicule away. Keep the faith, it will be worth it! 1 Quote

Success Posted December 10 Posted December 10 It's kinda cool that we're in most of the "games of the year" now. I've heard this season, people had it as our game against KC - but since Sunday, I've heard a few call the Rams game the game of the year (which, entertainment-wise, it probably was). 1 Quote

4th&long Posted December 10 Posted December 10 The rams game was not the game of the year. Not close 1 Quote
Buffalo716 Posted December 10 Posted December 10 (edited) Honestly Bill's fans are the most emotional people I've ever been around This place after a loss is sad and unbearable Do you guys remember how bad it was in 2008-13 Five straight last place AFC East finishes Edited December 10 by Buffalo716 Quote
