Process Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Is their window closed? We heard that all last off-season about the Bills. They are losing Higgins and will have to give Chase huge money. How much more money will they have for other free agents with that owner of theirs? Quote
Rigotz Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Aggregate statistics are for losers. The Bengals might be leading the NFL in passing, but they lost 16-10 to the Patriots. Scored 17 against the Giants, 17 against the Eagles, 21 against the Browns. Several games were a shootout against good teams... of which they lost nearly all of them. Those shootout games lend themselves to huge QB statistic games and passing game scripts, which equal sacks. Boom. There's your answer. A non-playoff team with great aggregate statistics. Quote

My opinion, a lack of really great sacks maker is difeerence maker for Bills right now Bills could use a lot of stuff - a ballhawk in the secondary, another great pass rusher, a better #2 corner, a better answer than the pair of DaQuan Jones and Ed Oliver, a 1st Round TE that played like one, Ja’Marr Chase at WR1. Thats not really saying a whole lot though. Quote
Cray51 Posted December 10 Posted December 10 I can't wait for Zac Taylor to make the team go 7-10 and the owner keeps him on another year. The guy is NOT a good head coach. He had a great DC for their Super Bowl run, but he is not even an average level head coach in this league. Poor starts and a lack of execution year after year. Quote

The rest of their team beyond those 3 are playing poorly. Even Tee has dropped off. The Angels lost every game with Trout & Ohtani. It happens.... Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Just an example you cannot just go by stats. Look at Josh's stats Sunday...when you are behind, you can put up big numbers but if another guy is on a team that is always winning he may not put up those same numbers. You have to look at the whole picture. Quote
Lost Posted December 10 Posted December 10 8 hours ago, BuffaloBillyG said: It's further evidence that stats alone don't tell the whole story. A lot of damage Burrow and Chase make is straight up stat padding after the team is behind and they are in comeback mode. We should probably throw out Josh's historic game on Sunday in that case then. Quote

I know it’s crazy to people, but the team that scores the most points in any particular game wins. When the other team at least puts up a stop or 2, it’s a difference. That's big news if true. I'm going to have to consult my crystal ball to confirm. Quote

A lot of defensive talent let go and their draft picks to replace them haven't really panned out the way they hoped. Some bad luck in one score games. Oh, and somehow Cody Ford is starting at left tackle. Wait - left Gaurd or left tackle!? Quote

ngbills Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Defense. They have one of the worst in the league. Outside of Hendrickson nobody has done jack. They have lost 4 games they scored 30+ and lost 6 games they scored 25. Better D and they could be a 2 loss team. Quote

Are you trying to be edgy or do you really need simple statements broken down for you like you're 5? Because on this board it could easily be either. Let me know how to better provide an answer for you. Thanks Quote
