Artem Lipatov Posted December 10 Posted December 10 If you see NFL stats: Burrow is best passer right now with a good gap. Chase is best receiver with a good gap. Hendricson is best in sacks. And their team is 5-8 and outside playoff picture. How is it possible? 1 Quote

GunnerBill Posted December 10 Posted December 10 They are really poorly coached, their oline still stinks and their defensive backfield is a mess. 3 Quote
Artem Lipatov Posted December 10 Author Posted December 10 I thought great QB and great pass rusher is guarantee of strong playoff team, like Mahomes and Chris Jones in KC. My opinion, a lack of really great sacks maker is difeerence maker for Bills right now 1 Quote

That and their losses are to Baltimore 2x, Chiefs, Washington, Philly, LAC, and Pittsburgh. A bad week 1 loss to NE. Cincinnati has been a slow starting team for a few years, that’s coaching. The contract holdouts didn’t help for that week 1 game. It’s a combination of things. They could’ve won all these games easily besides the Philly game. Quote

A lot of defensive talent let go and their draft picks to replace them haven't really panned out the way they hoped. Some bad luck in one score games. Oh, and somehow Cody Ford is starting at left tackle. Edited December 10 by Doc Brown Quote

A lot of damage Burrow and Chase make is straight up stat padding after the team is behind and they are in comeback mode. 6 Quote
Sweats Posted December 10 Posted December 10 I think their D is worse than ours.........shocking, i know. Quote
zow2 Posted December 10 Posted December 10 The loss to NE and some other high scoring losses...the Commanders, Steelers and two Ravens games come to mind. Quote

NE 16-10 KC with that PI and last sec FG WAS in that back and forth no punt game BAL blew 4 thW 2 score lead, miss FG in OT and lose BAL back and forth game. Scored with under a minute, went for 3 and failed losing 35+34 LAC try made a 2nd half comeback but fell short PIT their wins was CLE and that punt in DAL 3-6 when scoring 25+points on the Sack leader — haven’t dug in, but I wonder how many of those came in a few games ( CLE, CAR, LV, NYG) Edited December 10 by djp14150 Quote
DCofNC Posted December 10 Posted December 10 They give up way too many points, kinda like the Bills posting 42 and getting beat.. I know it’s crazy to people, but the team that scores the most points in any particular game wins. When the other team at least puts up a stop or 2, it’s a difference. Quote
SoMAn Posted December 10 Posted December 10 (edited) Desperation garbage time stats or they suck in the red zone. Edited December 10 by SoMAn Quote
QB Bills Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Outside of the Ravens, they're still the team I'd least like the Bills to play in the wild card round. Maybe even beyond. 1 Quote

Man with No Name Posted December 10 Posted December 10 They are a terrible organization. it made me feel a lot better about having to deal with the massive talent of Joe Burrow, for the next 15 years, when I remembered this. Quote

They're always either in a shootout or trailing and forced to pass, have bad run game, Josh last week doing what Burrow does every game put up astronomical #s, with weapons missing 1 Quote
SCBills Posted December 10 Posted December 10 (edited) Tough schedule & outside of Hendrickson, their defense is terrible and while Burrow is elite and Chase is a monster, Higgins missed some time and their OL allows Burrow to get beat up week in/week out… …which, of course, means if they sneak into the playoffs and we have to play them, our DL will somehow not lay a finger on him. This is also their “all in” year, because their owner struggles with cash liquidity and moving forward exactly zero of their big time players (outside Burrow) would ever take any type of even minor discount to stay there.
