Now after a pro bowl season where he had his most productive performance, he has regressed and has been a huge disappointment this season. One sack and a small amount of tackles won’t get it done. Ed has to show up if we want to get to the promised land. I think if he doesn’t show up this season the Bills have to take the trade route with him because he’s been healthy and it’s his commitment and desire that are in question. Why would anyone want to trade for an overpaid DT that doesn’t provide any impact and is weak against the run? 1 1 Quote

That would be because he had a great season last year and he’s 27 years old. The Bills defense has been solid up until last week when they gave up big points and yardage. Every coach thinks a talented player can be improved under their system or with their coaching staff. I think Babich and Sean are just as responsible for Oliver’s performance. Epenesa, Miller and Jones stats are anemic as well. A good coaching staff should be building momentum with underachieving players leading up to the postseason. Maybe Oliver can find better form going forward. Quote
gomper Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Oliver was outstanding. THAT'S the guy they need next month and hopefully in February. 3 Quote

Bullfrog Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Did I ever mention that I never doubted Ed for a second. Maybe for just a min or two. 1 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Ed has been invisible quite a bit this year but his two best games have been against KC and Detroit so I guess I'll give him that. Quote
boyst Posted December 16 Posted December 16 We matchup very well to NFC teams historically. Not sure I'm smart enough to explain why but the North and the East we succeed at quite well. The South is tough for us and the West has always been a thorn. Quote
Mikie2times Posted December 16 Posted December 16 So weird that he's capable of both nothing for nearly the whole season and then pure dominance today. Then again we have seen AJ do that more than once. Quote
