The Bills lost to the Rams because of you... (superstition/karma reasons)

How did your actions yesterday cause the Bills to lose?  Something you ate?  Did you change your shirt at halftime?  Started planning your trip to the Super Bowl?  I’ll start…

 

I was not able to see any of the game, not one minute.  My OTA antenna was getting no signal from the local Fox station, and my sisters login info for Spectrum was coming up as wrong login/password.  So, I'm sorry.  I'll try to come up with a third option to see the game, after trying to adjust my antenna.

My child had a meltdown so we paused the game after the Hollins touchdown. 38-35.

Pausing a stream almost always results in disaster. 

Missed the entire end of the game.

I didn't wear my black Buffalo Bills baseball hat this week because of the winter weather.

I didn't text my sisters with  "Go Bills!" before the game. I always do.

I sat on a different couch seat this time for the first half. Then I superstitiously went to my regular seat in the second half and the Bills started scoring a lot. 

So you guys can blame me for being boneheaded and it taking me an entire half of football to figure out.

Went to a Christmas party that started exactly at 4:30, and had to watch it when I got home later at night. 
 

I “assumed” this would be fine because I had to basically watch the last two Bills/Rams games the same way, and the Bills won both. 
 

Well, we all know about “assumptions.” I will vow to do better.

I put on my blue Bills sweatpants after showering yesterday morning.

But then I couldn't find my Josh Allen jersey.  So I donned my Kelly jersey instead.  It's a "Salute to Service" military green.  I'm not a fashionista, but I know that the drab green of that jersey clashed with the bright red & blue of the sweats but I wore it anyway, creating a vortex of bad juju that extended from my location all the way to SoFi.

True story........had to work late yesterday and security locked the gate and gave me a key to get out.

 

The problem i found was that they gave me the wrong key, couldn't get out and was locked in my office for a couple of hours until someone came by to check that everyone was gone.

I know what you're thinking, "but Sweats, why didn't you call someone?".........i did and no one was going to answer a phone call from the office on a Sunday night expecting bad things, man.

 

So, everyone saying the Bills D didn't show up yesterday should hang out in an empty office for a couple of hours when security wouldn't even show up.......i missed half the game by then and it sounds like i didn't miss much.
