I’m not sure about the rest of you, but I’m glad we’re playing Detroit this week. The final 3 games of the season won’t have much intensity because of the low quality of our opponents.

This is the game of the week, and it will tell us a lot about the reality of our Super Bowl aspirations.

Competing against Detroit gives us a chance to see if McD’s D can elevate its play to compete against a Super Bowl caliber group. We already know QB 1 is having an MVP caliber season. Our future first ballot HoF QB has nothing left to prove. We need the D to step the hell up. They need to play their part in a potential superbowl run.

I'd keep Coleman and Kincaid out another week just so they don't have to get hurt by Kerby Joseph tbh

Now that the one seed is out of the window the Bills should be as cautious as possible with injuries. The rest of this season getting to the playoffs healthy is the most important thing IMO.

I can't profess to predict what will happen but this is a good gut check for us. Bad games happen but then if we bounce back and fix the D issues we saw yesterday, then the hope for a long playoff run will still be active. Detroit has the horses to do what the Ravens and Rams did to us. I wouldn't want to expect the O to always score 40+ . I'm hoping Kincaid and Coleman are back so they can help in this game and be fully up to speed for the playoffs.

The scare at the back of my mind is that we reach the SB and then get exposed like we did yesterday.

If we get exposed like we did Sunday, I wouldn’t worry about reaching the super bowl

Just like wide right and no goal, :13 will ALWAYS be in Buffalo sports fans mind … you might need professional help if you don’t understand this.

Pretty sure I want Terry as far away from the nuts and bolts of the operation as much as possible

MCM, Roland Hooks catching a last second hail mary from Joe Ferguson in 1981 to beat the Pats 20-17. Bill Simpson intercepting Richard Todd at the goal line in the final seconds to clinch a 31-27 win over the Jets on WC weekend at Shea Stadium in 1981. I was at this game, and I remember like it was yesterday. Good or bad there are moments in sports you don't forget.

Rich Camarillo’s (?) punt sailing backwards in a blizzard at the Ralph … Players singing and dancing on the field to “Talking Proud” after beating the Rams to advance to the playoffs during the Ground Chuck era … true fans remember the biggest moments, and the meaningless ones as well

My thoughts are, Bills will move the ball and score 30+ but God knows what the defense will do.

I feel in my gut D will play a lot better. I think Lions have an outrageous offense, but I'm not sure we will see such a mistake free game.

This is going to sound crazy, but I don't think the Lions are better than the Rams right now. I feel that Rams team in their home dome , healthy, is better right now than a beat up Lions team.

Fwiw we historically do really well against Detroit regardless of either teams record. Even in our worst years the last 30 years we beat them.

Something about our matchup to the NFC North gives us and the East and edge, just like AFC South is kryptonite to us.

What is the Lions injury situation? Last week against GB they were really banged up and missing a lot of players on defense. If that is case again then the Bills should be able to move the ball and score a lot of points.

it's puzzling and in many situations you could go many ways.

If the Phili/Steelers game was at 1 o clock you could see it going many ways but Campbell would never let his team slack to avoid injuries to accept a loss shoudl the Eagles lose.  The entire NFL season ends somewhat interestingly but in this case, Detroit can lose and Phili win with Detroit maintaining the #1. Onward:

Phili:

Pittsburgh

@Washignton

Dallas

NY Giants

Detroit:

Buffalo

@Chicago

@SF

Minnesota

Detroit has a tougher row to hoe and can't afford to lose against us but can't afford any more injuries.

What stafford did wasn’t only mistake free. It was absolutely perfect throw and decisions almost every play. I don’t really see any QB doing that to us outside of Mahomes perhaps.
