I agree - not sure where that narrative started - the whole - they’re the only ones who can do that to us narrative. 2019 - 6 losses 2020 - 3 losses 2021 - 6 losses 2022 - 3 losses 2023 - 6 losses 2024 - 3 losses Nobody will be able to replicate what the Rams did, maybe that’s true, but it’s not ironclad. Anyways, it’s all opportunity for the Bills. They’re in the Playoffs, their offense is back to outputs not seen since 2020, and they finish with 3 winnable games against the division. Quote

I am cautiously optimistic that the level of play we'll see in the playoffs will be much improved compared to the Rams game. They needed to win; we didn't. Bills are undefeated at home this year - I expect us to get the 2 seed and have first game against Broncos or Chargers. We win and then maybe Pittsburgh comes to town and we win and either play at KC in championship game or host Ravens. At least one can hope! Go Bills. That’s not a bad wish list at all! What would make it better is if they can manage the roster and injuries, using the final week like a bye week. So that with steam is rested and injury free to start the playoffs! While still being the #2 seed. 1 Quote
zow2 Posted Tuesday at 07:03 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:03 PM There's no load management this week. Keon, Kincaid, etc.. whoever can play and contribute is suiting up. It's going to be a simulated playoff game with real playoff intensity. If KC keeps winning and the Bills decide to back off a bit in the final 3 weeks to protect people, i can see that. Quote

I can't see the Bills backing off. They still have to battle the Steelers for the #2 seed. That is something to play for. Play WC weekend and the divisional round at home. If KC loses in the divisional round, then the AFCCG is in OP provided the Bills win their games. 2 3 Quote

I agree. i'm mostly referring to players that have tweaks and are questionable. Pittsburgh is becoming a problem and they need to drop a couple. They have some tough games coming up. I also think there's still a reasonable chance KC loses at Pittsburgh and at Denver. Plus Houston could rise up and play their best game of the season vs KC. You never know, unlike the Chargers, Houston has decent weapons. I'm not totally giving up on the 1 seed. But the Bills have to do their part this Sunday. 1 1 Quote

I agree that they are not backing off. But this Detroit game is probably meaningless for the standings. I just can’t see us catching the chiefs, and the Steelers are probably going to lose to some combination of the chiefs, eagles, and ravens— which will put them firmly as the 3. it might work out pretty well for us. because Steelers D is going to probably give the chiefs issues in the playoffs. 2 Quote

If Bills go 3-1, KC would need to go 1-3 to catch them. That isn't happening. At this point you may need to win out just to stay at #2. There is a very good chance we are rooting for KC in week 16 to beat the Steelers. 1 Quote
