I'm resting rapp and Douglas for a couple weeks. We've earned the right to rest guys. Take advantage of it

Nothing wrong with getting Elam, Bishop and Ingram reps. Give Hardy a call up

I know we all get hung up on mcd playoff stuff but injuries have done him no favors.  Feels like the elite defenders on kc never miss a snap and the bills are always missing 3-4 very important players come playoff time.  Really couldn’t hurt being cautious with injured players the rest of the regular season

If they lose it's not the end of the world. Come home 10-4 with three winnable games left on the schedule. Bills will be 13-4 or 12-5 if that last game is meaningless for them and they treat it like a preseason game.

oh, man. Looks like we will have backups at CB 1 and both safety positions. And against the Lions?!  Could be pretty bad.

On top of the fact their RB's  have nearly 2000 yards combined and over 20 TD's.

We will need to score 50+ to win this one.

Or they could try to do to the Lions what the Giants did to the Bills in the Super Bowl and keep the ball for 40 minutes.

That is exactly what I think they will do.  Keep Josh on the bench is the best way to go.

Like paying hundreds of dollars for a ticket and not being able to sit down because snow is everywhere in the stands?

I mean... 64% of the seats are supposed to be covered by a canopy and the heating is supposed to extend into the stands to prevent that.

Yes... for fans viewing experience it might have been better to build the dome.  I responded to a statement that implied that not having a dome somehow hindered the Bills practice and game schedule.  2 different things.

Traveling will always be in issue in WNY during winter, but it would have been nice to have a dome. Climate controlled 70 degrees with wind, rain or snow never being an issue during the game.

Again... separate issue from what I responded to.

Not having a dome has zero to do with why the Bills didn't practice today considering they have an indoor practice facility.

" People are dumb" as he rants about something I didn't even mention 🤣

All those times games were moved I could see my lawn 15 miles north of the stadium. That was my point.

So you just wish the Bills chose to relocate the stadium out of Orchard Park and didn't care about the dome?

Does it not snow where you live?

Benford is CB1

Am I loosing my mind or didn't Ingram play really well early in the season?

Yes...Ingram had 2 INT against Miami

Give the dude a shot

I wouldn't mind seeing Elam either.

Not worried about Douglas being out.

He’s been targeted 27 times the last 6 weeks and allowed 23 catches.

Douglas should have been benched during last week's Rams game.

Clearly the prospect of being without Hamlin/Rapp/Douglas is not great. Especially in a week where it appears that practice time will be practically non-existent. That said, my expectation heading into the game (even with all of these guys healthy) was that the offense is going to need to score on virtually every possession if they have any chance of winning.  So in a somewhat twisted way, being without these guys may not be the end of the world. In fact, there is a curious side of me that wants to see:

1. Has Bishop improved since he got torched in Houston?

2. How much -- if anything -- does Hyde have left in the tank?

3. Will Elam get another shot?

Well, the clear view here seems to be Hamlin and Douglas stink, and Rapp mostly injures his teammates by launching himself into them.  So, what are we truly down here, given the expertise on this Board?

Detroit has made a strong comeback.

Great sports town with all 4 major sports plus some great college teams nearby.

its def got better in the last 5-6 years. covid stalled it, but in '17 i went to a Tigers game and it was just awful. everything was a ghost town around the stadium by 7pm with homeless people and dimly lit everything.

Spending $2B on a new stadium and putting it in the middle of a snow belt will never not be hilarious to me.

Sunny skies here in the Northtowns.

This was their chance to do it right 🤦‍♂️

Were all the players supposed to buy new houses in the Northtowns too?

Detroit quietly slips.....

The injuries inexplicably keep mounting for the Detroit Lions defense and Thursday Night Football was no different. Despite orchestrating a defense that missed half its starters at times in Week 14, Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn still held the Packers offense to a 20 percent third-down conversion rate and 14 of the points allowed came on short fields after turnovers. With that said, until this unit gets healthier, there are some concerns because Detroit has three games in the past four weeks with 1 sack or fewer and this run defense is beginning to have some issues. Both of those could loom large in a Week 15 matchup against the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen.

Yea he took a big step back this year in a contract year.  Think he probably would’ve lost some snaps this week even if healthy

When is the last time McD benched a vet starter for poor performance in game? Honest question…

I pretty sure he fired Vontae Davis at halftime, does that count?
