I don’t get the complete doom and gloom about losing the 1 seed.  The Bills just now have to win next week.  Tough job, but they have the talent to do it.  And KC can lose every single week they play.  I know it hasn’t happened yet, but it still just as likely.

It’s not about losing the number 1 seed. It’s about not learning from past mistakes. Come playoff time once again the bills will lose in the same fashion. All while our qb plays one of the best games in nfl history. That is the doom and gloom my friend. For the love of Christ how many times have we seen this movie.

Thanks Nostradamus.  Should a TO been called?  No.  But if Josh had not liked the call, he could have just spiked it instead of running the play.  McD didn’t call the play, it was either Brady or Josh that decided to run it.

As for the TO and onside kick, for that to be the wrong decision you have to assume that our D would have held them.  I think it’s a pretty safe assumption we would not have.  Mcvay would have known one first down wins the game, so he would have had his entire list of plays available vs.  just running it 3 times.  We hadn’t stopped Stanford all day long.

I’m not disagreeing with your point about stopping them. But here again it is irrelevant who called the play, as McDermott alone chose to call the time out.  McDermott has exercised poor judgment time and time again at critical junctures at the end of games. Especially in the playoffs. It doesn’t take some prophetic insight to know this will likely rear its ugly head come playoffs. The last 6 years have proven that. I’m not sure why anyone would think otherwise at this point.

I remember a certain passing play for Seattle in the Super Bowl a number of years back. Maybe not quite at the 1, but we know how it turned out. Allen is pretty much money on these sneak type plays. Just didn’t get in that time. I didn’t hate the strategy.

Crazy to think that a 42 point day on the road by any Bills team would be called a let down.

The Offense did their job, The Defense did not!!!

If you told me we were going to score 42 pts and Josh has 6 tds I'd probably say we win 99% of the time. Today I witnessed how incredibly vulnerable our defense is.

You just noticed that? This game caused me major PTSD from the last 4 playoff losses. It’s a theme against the top offenses at this point.

Add 0 turnovers. The record is 245-0. Well until yesterday anyways. Couple that with 13 seconds.  McDermott is an enigma. Does virtually everything right as a coach on so many levels and then blows it all away in the final two minutes of close critical games.

It’s not an enigma at all. McDermott is good at organizational leadership and team building but bad at game day management.

Well you would think someone with those traits, would exhibit good judgment and mathematical skills at the end of games.  Team organization and building appear to be much more difficult than simply managing a clock properly. Football 101 for anyone who has watched football. Much less played it their entire lives.

Listening to Sean take zero accountability, defend his decision to call a timeout, and say we needed to run the ball more 🤦‍♂️

It's honestly scary, listening to him I really think he doesn't understand why three timeouts are needed in that situation. Any 8 year old who plays Madden knows this 🤦‍♂️

Yesterday was a reminder that the Bills will never reach much less win a Super Bowl with McDermott as coach. Against the better head coaches with good offenses and QB's his defense always ****'s the bed. Always. Allen will probably have to produce 10 TD's next Sunday vs Detroit and I would still bet the Lions win

McD said over and over again they lost in the trenches in his presser, which makes the sneak play even more baffling. In the first quarter they also got stuffed on a QB sneak at the goal line

Should have had a 2nd play ready if the sneak didn’t work. Needed to get up to the line and do something.

We probably lost the trench battle yesterday. Couldn’t run, and couldn’t get a good rush on Stafford. Needed to blitz more to get him, but that leaves less on coverage against those receivers…so pick your poison.

We talked about this last week (on the board).  The Rams have an elite coach and Super Bowl pedigree.  This was a Must-win game for LA vs a team who wanted to win but certainly not a must.  As you alluded they were still basking in the division title, Tshirts, caps and snow angels.  The Bills still had a chance, i think they can wash this game and learn something.

Exactly. I hate the term but said all week, this had trap game written all over it.

Personally changes nothing on how I feel about the team, we're still the best in the AFC imo and we'll find out next week where we stand in the nfl.

Still was great to see them storm back from a 3 score deficit when they could've just laid down.

I think the Steelers are going to surprise a lot of people and go on a deep playoff run. Unlike the Bills the Steelers have a great defense. Wilson is playing like he was during his Seahawks days. He also gives them the threat of the deep ball which is something they haven't had since Ben. I would not be surprised if the Steelers are the AFC representative in the Super Bowl.

I'm not that high on them, they're solid but I don't consider them elite but the next month will show us, @Philly @Bal vs KC vs Cincy.

Even after yesterday,  we only gave up 30 more pts on D and scored 74 more.

I really only see them losing 1 more game so they are likely going to be the 2 seed especially if we are resting players. We could easily lose 2 more. Only the Ravens have a worse defense than us of the teams headed to the playoffs.

Tough schedule but I think they go 2-2 at minimum and maybe 3-1.

Look at my post above, brutal schedule, I have them going 2-2 , potentially 1-3
