I wanted and expected Smiley gone after last season and was surprised and disappointed he wasn't fired. This...just incredible.

If you find a better candidate than McD out there you let me know. Otherwise I’ll happily stick with him.

Belichick. Dude has the rings. Two of them came when Brady did very little in both super bowls (13-3 and 20-17 wins over the top offense Rams so that's on his defensive coaching (dude basically shutdown McVay and Goff who were elite that year and Kurt Warner and Mike Martz who were elite). Belichick gets us a ring. His biggest issue is drafting receiver. We have enough in places there for him to fix the defense and get us over the hump

Does it matter? There wasn't enough time for anything to come of it anyway

what i don’t understand is why the returner didn’t do anything to field it???

Why can’t we ever find a good special teams coach? Every year it’s the same clown show despite investing roster space and cap space on “special teams”

What a waste

McCrappy needs his end of the season scapegoat.

I do not want a 73-year-old coach.

Could you imagine. With our talent. He’d give Reid and Mahomes a run. Man. Come on, McBeannnnnne. Fire yourself and hire BB, please. 🙏 Belichick wants it bad. He wants to put the hammer down on Reid career numbers wise. He’ll do it with Allen and BeliBeane.

I’ve been very anti Belichick but if he’d be willing to work for Brandon Beane I’d be willing to give it a chance. Especially if McDermott has another meltdown in a playoff loss.

This stuff is so reminiscent of shottenheimer and Dan Reeves.

I absolutely hate admitting that

It’s Loserville, NFL. Those guys get places, and don’t know how to get out of them like the Super Bowl winners.

Bills would win a Super Bowl with belichick-

Cause his defence would actually show up in the playoffs and he knows how to slow down elite QBs

We are the only team in the NFL that is obsessed with dedicating game day roster spots to STs guys. We also somehow suck at them and constantly make boneheaded mistakes. Thank god that Josh Allen is the best player in the nfl because the rest of the situation is not good.

That was nearly 10 years (or more) ago. How did he look against the last elite QB he faced in the playoffs?

Dude dragged Mac Jones to the playoffs, Matt Cassel to 11 wins....so definitely not just a guy who only benefitted from Brady...We would be so dominant with him. Allen is on Brady's level with his play. We would so be a lock for a ring..

And I love hes willing to bend the rules to win. McDermott is a bit too goody two shoes for me. Many teams have rings they got while bending the rules and being a bit dirty. Belichick used to coach guys to purposely break rules knowing refs won't call it every play (see playoff games against Mannings Colts where Patriots defenders mugged Colts receivers all game long). That's the kind of attitude we need in the playoffs when refs let more things slide (I've argued we should have just mugged the Chiefs receivers in the 13 second game to kill time at the end and force a hail Mary)

What ST only guys do we have? Outside of K, P and LS?

When did he coach in the playoffs last, 2019?

So I guess the answer to your question would be 2018 in the SB as they won 13-3 and shut down the rams which was the best offence in the league that year .

Haha whoops I legit forgot about that one. As I was just thinking back to the Brady/Super Bowl days

So the answer to your question is 2018
