Allen is on Brady's level with his play. We would so be a lock for a ring.. And I love hes willing to bend the rules to win. McDermott is a bit too goody two shoes for me. Many teams have rings they got while bending the rules and being a bit dirty. Belichick used to coach guys to purposely break rules knowing refs won't call it every play (see playoff games against Mannings Colts where Patriots defenders mugged Colts receivers all game long). That's the kind of attitude we need in the playoffs when refs let more things slide (I've argued we should have just mugged the Chiefs receivers in the 13 second game to kill time at the end and force a hail Mary) That wasn't Belichick, Josh McDaniels is a very underrated OC. You think Belichick was calling the offense? Quote
Shortchaz Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Don’t have to worry about fielding a punt return unit next week, so…..we got that to…look…..forward to. Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Smiley should've been fired a year ago. I guess Sean's a year too late. 1 Quote

You think Belichick was calling the offense? His defenses were very good those years and helped a lot. Even Brady's last year it was mostly the defense dragging them to the playoffs and getting the Super Bowl ring in Brady's second to last season there (13-3 win over Rams) McDaniels has been a bum everywhere he's gone without Belichick Edited December 9 by ProcessImproverMan Quote

I really don’t want criminals, but NFL criminals.. in this day and age, yea- who cares, right. Videotapes and footballs, who am I to judge. Who are WE to judge?! Let us know the depths of you, BB. We will understand. What does Bill like? Boats? Lake Eries is pretty awful for a rich guy right? What else? Ownershipppp?? Yeah, I said it. Quote

Steptide Posted December 9 Posted December 9 This is by no means why we lost the game, but how many times is McDermott gonna let these special teams blunders happen Quote

Bill likes young college girls it seems and we do have UB and Buff State.... Belichick has repeatedly gushed about Allen so that would be worth for him. Allen allows coaches so much more flexibility. Dungy was clean but Reid has baggage with his family so who knows there. He also puts up with scumbag players who win (see Tyreek Hill, see Jones, see Hunt, etc) Quote

ST allowed a GW KR TD against the Jets in the season opener last year, and as an encore had 12 men on the field later in the year on a last-second FG attempt against Denver. And he’s STILL here. Big Turk Posted December 9 Posted December 9 46 minutes ago, FireChans said: He’s coaching the offense in Detroit right now. He has a far worse QB and is the one seed and is the odds on favorite to play in the Super Bowl. ”You can’t guarantee the next QB will be better than Tyrod” energy lmao There is a much better chance a coordinator ends up being a bad or average head coach than he does a good or great one, no matter how good. Being good as a Head coach and Coordinator are completely different skill sets and very few people have both, which is why it's so hard to make the jump. 1 Quote

Seems pretty easy when you have Allen at QB tbh Quote

There wasn't enough time for anything to come of it anyway A block could have resulted in a sec or two left. Either scoop and score or they dive on it. Again low % chance, but at least you could try if you had 11 out there. Quote
Sweats Posted December 9 Posted December 9 I honestly thought we only had 9 guys on the field all game long between the O, the D, and ST's. 1 1 Quote

Billzgobowlin Posted December 9 Posted December 9 He is most likely gone with the regression of Bass, punt block from this game and total ineptitude of the special teams. The last guy was better but still not good enough Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted December 9 Posted December 9 I was convinced that Smiley was gone after last year. He should never have been back. I don't know anything about our Assistant STs coach, but maybe it's time to give him an audition over the last month of the season. Smiley is not it. Quote
