Do you understand the difference between it likely not happening and guaranteeing it can't happen?

It did no such thing. Ā You have a shot at the onside kick. Ā Which given the way McVay toyed with our D all game was likely about the same odds as our stopping them from getting a first down. Ā
Ā

Thanks for not answering the question. Ā Itā€™s a habit of yours.

Point being if Bills win coin flip things may have ended differently.Ā

There were a comedy of errors in the last 13 seconds from the head coach which led to the overtime

Just as you hear it from every coach after they make mistakes. Ā They all do it. Ā

We had a shot at onside kick regardless of the TO situation.

Ā

The difference between getting the ball back with little time left after a 3 and out and having a chance to get down the field and kick the FG vs never touching ball again on offense was the difference between having 3 TO's or 2 TO's.

Ā

The Bills effectively guaranteed they would not touch the ball on offense if they didn't recover the onside by taking that TO.

Ā

Do you understand that?

I have already said I would not have called the TO. Ā This is the second time you refuse to answer the question so Iā€™ll pose it again. Ā  Do you honestly believe we could have scored, stopped them for a 3 and out, then got in position to kick a FG all within time remaining? Ā Do you honestly believe given how their offense dominated all night that would have happened?

6-8 blunders in 110 games as head coach.

Ā

Feel like most of the close games that have happened under him ended up on the positive side.Ā  Just a guess.

Ā

And dont give me 13 seconds.Ā  I know they messed up then, they messed up last year against Denver and they messed up yesterday with 9 players on the field for a punt block.

Ā

That's on the ST coach first, then it's on McD.

Yes I believe we could have.

Ā

I'm not sure if it would have happened.Ā  I do know we forced them to punt anyway, so clearly that was a possibility.

Ā

I'm sure it didn't happen because it didn't have a chance to happen because we called that TO.

Ā

I don't care if it had a 1% chance of happening. The Bills' decisions made it 0. That's losing football.

It did not make it 0%. Ā That is a lie.

It made it zero. We didn't touch the ball on offense. The game ended without the offense touching the ball. 0% chance to kick a field goal on offense because we never got the ball on offense.

Ā

That's why I keep asking you if you understand.

I'm extremely confident going into the playoffs if we are fully healthy or as close to it as possibleĀ

Ā

I don't think another team will repeat that against our defense.Ā

Iā€™m curious where your confidence in this Defense comes from? Ā
Most teams have been exploiting our soft zone for years. Ā
Ā

I acknowledge that once the opponent get inside the red zone the Bills D does a great job defending the short field.

Ā

IMO, our pass rush sucks, our ability to stop the run is even worse yet. Ā So therefore I have little confidence in our current defense heading into the playoffs. Ā Can we be the Chiefsā€¦. Absolutely. Ā Can beat the Steelers? Ā Highly unlikely. Ā They will gash us run game. Ā Can we beat the Ravens ? Ā Extremely unlikelyā€¦. Henry will have another field day and when he needs a breather, Ā Lamar will get plenty of running and passing yards.

Ā

Ā Other than our ability to score on most possessions due our amazing QB, I have very little confidence that our Defense can stop any playoff team this year.

Ā

i have a feeling that Detroit is going to embarrass us next week even if Josh has another ā€œhistoric ā€œ day.

Ā

itā€™s very depressing, Ā I wish I knew how Josh truly feels today. Ā He has to be frustrated.

McD hired Farwell then had to fire him. He hired Smiley and likely will fire him after the season.Ā  Maybe McD needs to take a course on hiring better employees?

You are lying, no other way to put it. Ā The TO meant we had to recover an onside kick. Ā Remote possibility but not zero. Ā So you keep lying about it.

The TO meant if we didn't recover the onside, we would have no chance to touch the ball again on offense. This is what happened

Ā

If we had 3 TO's, we had a chance to not recover the onside and still touch the ball on offense. This is what couldn't happen because we called TO. As I said above.

Ā

So it made the chance of that zero.

I agree but that isn't my point.

But respectfully it's an odd example to bring up if your stance is to justify McDermott. Hes the main reason they lost that game as he completely butchered the end of the game

I'm just saying coaching and players can be blamed for losses as well as a coin flip. It's not only coaching.Ā

šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļøSince we have to go down here with why there was even a coin flip in the 1st place.

Ā

13 seconds left:

Ā

Error 1: Kicking off instead of squibbing

Ā

Error 2: Playing the sidelines when KC has 2 timeouts left

Ā

Error 3: Calling timeouts and letting KC strategize. (Kelce said the timeouts were the reason the reason they were successful)

Ā

The list goes on. There should have never been a coin flip in the 1st place as McDermott completely butchered it Ā at an all time bad level

You could play that game 100x and I'd imagine we'd win almost 90% of the time. McDermott played the odds in lost thanks to great play by 3 HOF caliber players in Mahomes, Hill and Kelce in those 13 seconds.

It was an epic failure by McDermott. No way around it. Even McDermotts wife would say he sh*t the bed that gameĀ
