On the sneak. I think Josh checked into the QB sneak not realizing they were further than they actually were. The ball was on the 1 and a half yard line.  Not inside the 1. 

 

And don’t forget, the TOTAL CHOKE  on the Line Judge not calling the movement on the Rams Right Tackle. 😱

Imo, our Defense lost this game, because we can’t stop a decent teams run game, arrrgh!!!

Problem is McDermott just demonstrated he does not learn. Disturbing to see say the least. Very poor judgement when stressed. That use of a time out and qb sneak was the nail in the coffin. Almost as bad as fake punts at your 30 with damar Hamlin.

No they were not going to go for it on 4th and 10 from the 40. And if they do, ***** it. Let them he lost is the game with that stupidity. Then we inexcusably got a miracle second shot and this guy doubled down with an inexcusable TO. We had 2 chances to win a game we should have lost by 20. This coach is an idiot. We have enough sample size now. Win the Super Bowl this year or move on

He's a defensive coach, he just doesn't know what to do in these situations. If the season peters out, as good a coach as he is in other ways if Josh is unhappy then it might be the end ?

By taking the penalty, the Bills take LA out of FG range and make it 3rd and 17.  The problem was the defense giving up 12 yds on the next play, making it 4th down...then giving up the 5 yds.  I don't fault McD.  Our defense could not stop LA, and specifically Nakua all game.  The Rams offensive starters made the plays when they needed to.  For that matter, so did the Bills.  It was that dang blocked punt for a TD that made the difference.

I would have declined the penalty and see what they did on 4 th and 7.  They key was holding then to a FG or no score and having time left,

 

if the D stopped them buffalo likely manages the clock to possibly win the game

I understand that % is very low and that defense was not making stops... BUT

 

At least it would give the Bills a chance. Calling a timeout ended that chance
