12/8/24 Game 14 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Rams post game Thread

End of game mistakes (penalty being accepted, TO after the sneak) pale in comparison to the struggles on third down.  We were WORKED on third down all game.  Rams were 11-12 on 3rd at one point.  Nacua and Kupp made some superstar plays, and stafford threw well all night.  I dont think any team in the AFC has that type of firepower.

 

Allen played out of his mind - he is the MVP barring a disaster.  His stats just exploded due to this game.  All in all, defense needs to squeeze down on that type of poor play on third down, and Allen needs to continue to use that level headed play he showed today.  This game showed me Allen absolutely has the right mentality this year.

On that last TD to Nacua, they set a pick play to get him open and the other receiver just bear hugged the defender to set a pick. Is that allowed?

They acted like the Rams were trh greatest show on turf version and they are not even close to that.

 

Just putrid and that isn't on the coaches. At some point your defensive players have to have some f***ing pride and make a goddamn play.

 

You give up 44 points, players had plenty of opportunities to make a play and none of them did all day.

The offense played bad early. Sure we put up 42 but Josh started slow and not sure where Ray Davis disappeared to.

The coaching blew it at the end for sure. But dear lord the defense blew it for 60 minutes. It was awful

He was also blocking downfield like 2 seconds before the ball is even caught. I’ll be honest I don’t know the rules there, but I remember they started calling them really close like 10 years ago because the Broncos with Manning were abusing the rules.

we can argue about the final sequence but the truth is the defense was a non factor for 90% of the game  At some point some of these guys should be expected to make some impact plays

Josh Allen accounted for 424 yards and 6 touchdowns.  How this game is a loss is beyond me.  Minimal chance for the 1 seed now… so McDermott better get his sh!t together real quick. This defense is worrisome.

Babich blew the game way more than McD did.  He will be the scapegoat to terrible defensive playcalling in the first three quarters

I really don't care. Meaningless game, I'm not worried about the seed. 

 

But it shows that this team (or the defense) isn't as good as we think. When playing against competent offenses the zone will be picked apart.

I still want to pay him but he was absolutely atrocious today.

Easily his worst game as an NFL player.
