Idk how you play more man without generating any pressure…I can’t imagine how many points we would’ve given up doing that haha

I don’t really get that cuz we’d have more competition if we weren’t as good lol it’s like chicken or the egg 🤣

if the dolphins beat us twice this year they are leading the division right now with an easy closing schedule.  If we split we’d be less comfy but still leading and a tough game vs Detroit coming up

This game was the very opposite than what was expected.

1) the rams were supposed to be very bad against the run, and we were supposed to be running wild. Instead, we couldn’t get anything on the ground. And we really went away from it. Ray Davis with no carries! 
 

2) Rams haven’t been all that good on 3rd down offense, but converted at an insane rate.

 

3) we usually play a lot of zone and go bend some break. Yet We played a lot more man, and were pretty aggressive in coverage. And it didn’t work. 
 

4) Rams with one of the highest pressure rates, but really got no pressure on Josh.
 

I am not sure what to make of any of this.

They need to be active in free agency. First year players are usually useless.

I'll just let this marinate for awhile...  At least for tonight.  I hear you though.  It defies credulity how they manage to win.  I was like wouldn't it be so cool for the Bills if Chiefs miss that field goal.  The make was even more painful than if it had gone straight through.

Only silver lining from this game is that Josh Allen all but locked up the MVP race with that second half performance.

 

Every week he does something that has never been done before.....

 

First player ever with 3 passing and 3 rushing TD's in the same game....unreal!!

That might also explain the confusion on what to do after it failed.

It's possible, McD mentioned they wanted to go w their best play this yr rather than throw in his presser.  I guess we may never know

There honestly isn’t much of quality that will be available on the DLine position for 2025’s free agency. 
 

A lot of it older guys who’ve bounced between teams. 
 

The younger guys are going to get substantial pay days and we are probably doing something with Groot. 
 

Josh Sweat and Azeez Olujari are really the only guys I’d go after in that pool. Maybe Chase Young but he’s been underwhelming on a one year prove it deal. 
 

DT wise? Nandi and Joseph-Day could be worth it. 
 

Going to the draft isn’t going to surprise me.

Can someone tell me how Miami can go there pretty much locked them down and push them around for the most part of that game and went in their building when we're better than Miami but we can't stop them in their own building

Mack was wide open-  from my perspective- he threw it short to the inside when he needed to throw it long to the outside.  Was it a tough throw?  Definitely.  But he under threw it.

What gets lost after Josh's performance is that Matt Stafford played absolutely out of his mind. Some of those throws he made were unbelievable. Not basing it purely on stats, that has to be in his top-5 games ever played.

Pressure dude. On all phases from their front 5; inside and out. 

Some of it was coverage but most was from the line themselves. 
 

We had neither. No pressure up front and poor coverage. 
 

Recipe for disaster. One has to help the other sometimes.

Depends.. the norm relative to the season, no.. outlier. 
 

The norm relative to teams with good QB play that have strong coaching and a balanced offense?  Yes.

Didn’t see the play, but read it bounced off an upright and in.

Actually, no. Rams have been very good against the run this season, yet susceptible to the pass. It was true again this game. Their new DL is excellent.
