Yes, losing sucks. But people acting like the season is over is comical to me. How often does our defense fold like that? Things happen. The Rams have been a hot team for weeks now. They made some amazing plays. What, if we don’t get the 1 seed possibly, so we’re trash? 10-3 is trash? Josh plays out of his mind, yet all hope is lost? McD should be fired, who still has the best record since 1993 with a defensive roster that we all knew was depleted? Did I miss a meeting where a west coast game against a NFC game is our Super Bowl now? Take a drink, relax. We are fine. Remember last year when it looked like we wouldn't even make the playoffs, we clinched our division last week! Wouldn't even know it. Quote

Josh hits that throw- we win- crucial plays play play a significant role in games. The rams had 72 plays, controlled the ball for 38.5 minutes and had a more balanced offense. Nacua was uncoverable when they needed him most all game. The Rams had more yards and were 11/15 on 3rd down conversions. Winning on 3rd downs- usually wins the game imo. They dominated on 3rd downs. Made big plays. We missed a couple that we needed. Scoring more points wins games imo. Quote

The rams offense was closer. It sure why this is such a thing for people. Mcdermotts fail ended our chances of something spectacular happening. Quote

Can't stop a good QB/good player caller. If the bills lost like 24-21, it would be more casual for me. But defence sitting in soft zone, getting 0 pass rush and getting gashed all game long just reminds of every single playoff loss 3 1 Quote

He missed a 50 yard throw by about a foot, dude. 2 Quote

That doesn’t mean we weren’t too. They were slightly better. But McDermotts terrible decision sealed our fate Our offense quite literally out scored theirs. We lost because on 10 drives our defense gave up 6 tds and 1 fg. The other 3 were end of half, a punt, and end of game punt. You can blame McDermott all you want, he’s not devoid of blame for some of his decisions. But I would just hate to live in your world where after that game you think the offense wasn’t good enough. 1 Quote

Doesn’t mean he’s not the best player in the league or that he didn’t play an insane game….. he missed some throws that he needed to hit in order to give us a better chance to win. McDermott missed too. As did babich. And the rams O was spectacular. Sometimes you lose when the other teams play amazing football too good grief. 1 Quote

Right, our offense outscored theirs, but our special teams gave up a blocked punt. But point was you said Rams offense outplayed Bills offense. But not with respect to points. Quote

bobobonators Posted December 9 Posted December 9 I literally felt nothing after this loss. What a fun stress free game to watch. 1. we clinched last week. 2. we traveled to the west coast following our clinching and faced a team that is a. Very talented; and b. Its season was on the line. 3. THE GAME WAS AWESOME! The Bills are a great team. Enjoy this people. Stop your crying. 2 Quote

Because calling a 3rd read, rapid-release, 60 yard throw that was a finger from being a TD a "miss" is a sign of us being embarrassingly spoiled at QB. 1 2 Quote

We lost because the rams were amazing on O- Stafford and nacua especially, they put on a clinic the entire game. We also lost because they schooled our d and because our d played poorly. We also lost because McDermott made a terrible decision. We also lost because Josh left some plays on the field he should’ve made. We almost won because Josh was played his heart out and almost willed it for us. There are usually multiple reasons that games end the way they do. Not just one. Sorry if that upsets you and others. That’s genuinely how I feel after every game. I’m not upset at this loss. The opposition played great and we lost. It’s football Quote

If they decline the penalty the rams go for it on fourth anyway. At that point coaches would usually just accept the penalty. The D cost them the game. TD sealed it. Quote

I’m talking about Matthew Stafford. He was on it all game. And his WRs were locked in. Bills had no chance today unless Superman showed up. Superman did show up and gave the Bills a chance. Quote

We had 22 more passing yards on 7 more attempts They were better in every other category. If you believe points are the only way to determine which offense was better- good for you. I know for a fact that that’s not true. 1 Quote
GASabresIUFan Posted December 9 Posted December 9 McD’s failings on the last drive didn’t cost us the game. The defense failed the entire game to make a play when needed and we let a punt get blocked. Hopefully, this film will help the team, coaches and players, re-focus for next week. Quote

He said what he thinks he had to say to tow the company line and act like a team player, but he's not happy with what happened. Just my take. Quote
