GolfandBills Posted December 9 Posted December 9 McDermott lost a game with 6 Josh TDS is inexcusable. He just doesn’t have what it takes to coach this team to a Super Bowl. Never has never will 2 1 1 1 Quote

Because while it’s possible to lose at home, and while every team in every sport with meaningful number of playoffs games has lost at home, it’s generally agreed by everyone in sport that it’s an advantage to play at home. The Bills have lost at home. They are still more likely to advance in home games than road games. It didn’t happen once doesn’t trump it does happen often. Quote

stuvian Posted December 9 Posted December 9 As disappointed as I am with our defense I know that over a 17 game season there will be letdowns. After beating the reigning conference champions in back to back weeks, a letdown is understandable if not excusable 1 1 Quote

Chaos Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Fans have been waiting with baited breath for the return of once great defenders like Von Miller and Matt Milano too return to form. And have justified bad defensive performances on injuries for years now. At this point, it seems like the roster is at least NFL average healthy, and what we got we got. Or am I forgetting something.? 1 Quote

Stafford has Super Bowl/Elite QB DNA.. He’s capable of going toe to toe with Allen & Mahomes. As he showed today. Especially when your D barely breathes on him! Quote

seattlebillsfan Posted December 9 Posted December 9 (edited) That’s it. Simply a binary thing and inexplicable to misunderstand the situation. Seems to me after this game there are 3 long term potential solutions: 1) replace McDermott; 2) keep him but with a new title, “chief team executive and culture officer” or something like that, and then hire a new head coach; 3) bring in a specialist to call the game in the last 5 minutes. The problem with 2) is that it is unlikely a good coach would take the job. So it seems to me it is 1 or 3, and I am not sure how feasible 3 is. Probably best just to promote Brady to head coach and move on… Edited December 9 by seattlebillsfan 1 Quote
