I haven't changed my mind about him since 13 seconds. He are good because of Allen not because of McDermott. He will continue to fall short in big games in the playoffs

It certainly looks that way...

When faced with a tough assignment...a really tough assignment... His D, and especially his D-Line, is just not good enough... Even still Josh will likely hide most of it in most games... Look how big one lousy stop on D was in this game... 2 stops in the 2nd half and we win... Even with the freaking blocked Punt...

I get that everyone is mad at the dumb things today and the defense was terrible. If they needed to lose a game I not upset that it's this one.

Get everyone's head straight, the offense is still clicking. I really don't think that home field benefits us in January as much as everyone thinks it does with the risk of horrendous weather that can negate a passing game and seriously disadvantages our little defense. Just go win.

the non call on the false start...simple 1 play...

4th n 10 they get fg, we r down 6 with a 2minute drill...

we win the game...no doubt...

d was atrocious, but nacua played like jerry rice, calvin johnson bo jackson etc etc all in 1 today

Not sure they even attempt the fg there…might’ve still gone on 4th or punted.  One of the biggest missed unquestionable calls I’ve ever seen

Time for rational thought:

1.  They were going to go for it on 4 th regardless, so taking the penalty or not meant nothing.  Going with the 4 man rush and zone that hadn’t worked all day is a legitimate gripe.

2.  Despite Tommy yelling about the TO, what would the odds have been of holding a team we hadn’t stopped the entire freaking day from getting a first down?  Especially if McVay didn’t just have to run the clock down?  More or less than3%?  And yes they should have jumped right up and ran another quick play or spiked it after the failed sneak.

3.  The calls for McD to be canned are stupid childish reactions.  They are 10-3 with a supposed rebuilding team.

4.  They lost because we were  dominated by their O line, and because our zone did not match up against them.

#2 - we actually did it.  But ran out of time.

Special teams gaffe really cost them, as well as an inability to cover Nacua.  Most troubling however is another questionable decision by McDermott when the lights were brightest

not on mcd, on brady as he calls the offense. but mcd should call all plays all the time right?

He started blocking while the ball was in the air for sure. But his block was a bear hug, with his arms around the backside of the defender. Isn't that illegal even if he had waited till the ball was caught?

Meh. They ignore more egregious holding on every down.

Ahhhh yes, if the O held the ball longer. D shouldn’t need the O to hold the ball to do their job. They were bad from start to finish and this loss is on nothing but them

It's a double edged sword. If we want to blame anyone let's blame the STs, blocked punts for TDs are inexcusable.

I really wanted them to come back and win this, yeah the obvious reasons, but also because it would be so good to look that Rams defense dead in the eyes and be like "The ***** were you guys talking ***** about."

I mean they still didn't do ***** but it's aggravating that they got away with it.

The blocked punt became the difference maker in this game where neither defense could stop much of anything. It was a pretty good game and I’ve felt a whole lot worse after other losses.
