And the Bills were simply NOT really good often enough. It's true that the Rams made so many plays, and the Bills just missed on too many plays.

The rams were the worst team in the league on 3rd down.  Their offense absolutely abused Buffalo on third downs all game.  Inexcusable

Agreed on a macro level, but on a micro level, Josh Allen was jumpy and rushing his mechanics at times during the first half. He missed some HUGE plays throughout. Gotta have those.

Doesn't help that our running game was total dog crap.

I just can't believe you are saying this after what we just watched.  The expectation of perfection from Allen is flat out crazy.  It's insane and is not seen at any level of football by any other QB.  As good as Stafford played today, and he was magnificent, he also missed some passes and left some plays out there.

Here’s a question I have for NFL aficionados and junkies. Rams beat the Saints last week, in NO, 21-14. The Saints actually shut the Rams out in the first half. Stafford found his rhythm in the second.

The week before against the Eagles, they were hot and cold, scoring only 20 in a loss. Rams were 0-8 on third down in that one! Under 200 yards passing.

What did the Saints and Eagles D do that ours couldn’t?

How was McVay’s O able to b-word slap McD’s D up and down the field.

This is on McD’s unit. He should feel embarrassed. Your QB plays like a GOD and you piss all over yourself for 60 minutes.

I’m not sure at all. In fact they probably would have given up the first down and that would be game over.

Doesn’t change the fact that the coaches choked in a critical moment.

They made a mistake that changed nothing.  They are not perfect--OK.  No one is.

Stafford and Nacua executed to perfection.

That's the standard when playing against a team that can keep up.

Edit: obviously Allen and his guys made enough plays to score over 40. But they left a couple big-time plays out there, mostly with Allen being a little unsettled and rushing (that Mack Hollins deep ball took Allen a while to find him, and so Allen then rushed his delivery and underthrew a rainbow when a missile would have been perfecto. Gave Hollins a chance, I guess, but it was a bad miss).

I think it’s a lot of hair splitting. I had no doubt that Josh Allen was going to bring the team back to victory right up to the no call on LA for false start. The entire ending changed at that point imo, from a likely Bills win to an almost certain loss.

They have a lot of talent and had their A game today.  If you don't think their offense was executing at an extremely high level, I don't know what to tell you.  Stafford Nacua and Kupp were all outstanding.

He definitely wants that missed throw to Shakir back…that might’ve been a carbon copy of the later Shakir td if the ball is on target

I’d put money on that’s exactly what he’s talking about with that statement

Or the pass when hollins was wide open deep

So you’re saying the standard for Josh needs to be better than 6 td’s, 80 yards rushing, and 340 yards passing?

But they didn’t play like it tonight. They played like a team that knew its only chance at the postseason is winning the NFC west.

Allen was as close to perfect for a QB as you can be.  Didn't he have a record setting EPA & Fantasy score?  Allen had a 117 QB rating and an amazing 90 QBR.

I believe they have had some oline injuries and recently got healthy and their oline in good positions. Showed today— we couldn’t generate any pressure.

They’ve been better on offense lately than they’d been early in the season.

The Rams were finally healthy on offense this game.  They had their starting oline and WRs.  That has not been the case the previous games.

lol - there is a really good chance next week is another shootout - they may

abuse our corners and subpar safeties all night

He didn’t do anything that should tarnish his MVP resume.

Yeah, but they didn't have Puka or Kupp for most of the season. Since they got them both back they've been really good.
