Ok, looking for silver linings. It was refreshing to see they were capable of opening up the offense when they got down. I wish they had that type of urgency throughout the game. Something to remember the rest of the way and the playoffs.

If there is going to be a silver lining today, it will be the Chiefs losing.

If not, we may have lost the #1 seed today, so I can't really think of any silver linings.

The simple fact is that their offensive personnel destroyed our defensive personnel.  And vice versa.  Our D steps up it’s not a close game.  And again vice versa.

Apparently @Einstein doesn’t know that the play isn’t whistled dead when the clock strikes zero…. They get to finish the play!

You quoted someone who was agreeing with me and laughing at McD.

There was no time to return because they were going to punt the ball out of bounds, or out of the back of the endzone, and the hang-time would be 6 seconds alone.

Do you think JA17 shares your opinion?  I highly doubt that.   As a leader, he will not openly throw anyone under the bus, however,  he and many other veterans know that if a game comes down to the wire; McDummy will blow it 9/10 times.

That is just proven fact.

Is 9/10 a statistic you can back up or

I don’t think they blame their coach as much as this message board does lol. In fact I’d say they get pretty irritated reading some of the negative takes about mcd here

I’m a big Ja’Marcus Ingram fan, but having Elam as a healthy scratch is a giant mistake. Both should be dressed. We struggle when either outside corner gets dinged up.

I am not a Cam Lewis fan and would prefer to get both Ingram and Elam on game day.

Milano shouldn’t be starting yet. For the second week in a row I would have liked to have seen Williams out there. Milanos snap percentage is waaaay too high.

Josh set 3 NFL records today and McDermott DOES IT AGAIN. Before today teams with 6 TDs or more were 245-0. Now 245-1.

Is this real

Not sure you know how stats and facts work

Wow - Rams fans are saying they have to overcome the refs.

I mean, huh?  Seemed like every pivotal call went their way.

There were some late questionable dpis that I saw as inconsequential makeup call attempts for the botched false start

that opi call on the rams earlier was whack for sure

Josh had a great second half, but the first was very average. Gotta start out faster in shootouts like these.

He had the ball for a grand total of 10 minutes in the first half and still had 150+ yrds and 2 TDs

He's a HoF player if he retires today.

We think so, we hope so.  But the other day on National sports shows on TV they were calling him Phillip Rivers. Until he puts up some hardware with his name on it. and they specifically mentioned MVP as counting even if he never wins a Lombardi.  So that’s what the outsiders are thinking.

If the false start is called against them, we win the game in spite of our horrible D today and McD accepting the holding penalty on 3rd down.

I think McVay would not have been afraid to throw it at the end.  The destroyed our zone all day and any quick throw to Puka was almost guaranteed.

That is a fair point. I still doubt they throw before 3rd down but regardless you HAVE to preserve the TOs at all costs and make them earn it. Largely we agree and your takes are fair and rational.

BRING SOME PRESSUREEEEEE!!, any qb with 5-6seconds will pick a d apart...

its apparent this front 4 on it own will noT consistently get to the qb...PRESSUREEEE

they blitzed over and over in the second half they never got home and gave up easy completions when they did.

The difference in the game was the blocked punt for a score and giving up that 4th and 4 for a first down.

its not a conference game so they are still ok but they have to win those final three games because they need those conference wins to hold onto the 2 seed.

if the bills finish 13-4 and pittsburgh loses one more game in the conference Buffalo is the 2.  THis is a bummer because it means they have to play to win the final week vs new england it seems instead of getting some guys rest.
