The Allen push play where he called the time out that play Works 99.9% of the time that was the one time it didn't work he lived by the church push they die by the touch Bush it is what it is

When you can't get off the field you decline penalty and make them try a long fg or 4 th and 7.  Not even a decision to me.

How can we have a defensive head coach and most of our big losses are because our D doesn't show up? If we had an offensive HC and our offense failed to show up they would be gone.

I stayed out of GDT today but I'll go ahead and assume people will blame this on McD and defense.

 

While I agree that defense didn't do much today and McD made a mistake with accepting that penalty, I see two reasons why we lost:

 

Stafford and Nacua all world performance to almost match Allen all world performance, which leads us to the crucial point - blocked punt.

 

It was a great game and we would've won if not for that block.

The one thing you can't do in that circumstance is allow the ball to fall into the zone. You try a runback, it was the only chance, even if it was a Dumb and Dumber kind of chance.

I don't think they go for it on 4th and 11.  Just not a high enough percentage to risk giving Allen the ball there.

They always say it's how you are playing in December. This defense has been exposed. It's dog doo doo. Beane tried to slide by with plan B signing and bad contracts Miller and Oliver. The secondary blows!

I am nearly positive that the Bills with Mcdermott & Allen have lost every "game of the year" type of game they've played in... lol

 

And the messed up part is in at least a couple of those games it is pretty much Allen's best game of the year too

The game moves way too fast for Sean sometimes. Today was an example. He's a great leader of men. But he screwed up on game

Things that pissed me off besides the coaching SNAFUs:

 

Bills blitz packages which rarely if ever generate pressure.

 

Nick Wright called both Rams upset and Stafford going toe to toe with Allen.

Refs missed the most crucial play of the game.

 

4th and 5, obvious false starts that ultimately ate more clock and cost us 4 pts

Even after the putrid decision to run Josh, Mc*****Face STILL shouldn’t have called the timeout. Get up and snap it, even if it burns another 10 seconds. You CAN’T call a timeout there.

We have massive problems on Defense if we come up against a team with a competent QB and a good, balanced, well coached Offense...

 

The good news is there are not a lot of teams like that in this league. The Rams made some incredible plays in this game, no question. But it was 3rd down, after 3rd down, after 3rd down, and then 4th down given up on Defense... Just one after the other after the other... This was as bad a situational Defensive game as you can play. Stafford is a really good QB... But he's not Josh, so everything has to work right and in rhythm for that to happen... And boy did it for the Rams today... And that is a real problem going forward...

 

11 of 14 on 3rd down!!! Holy crap!!!
