We coulda done with the Lions being this week because I think that game would have required that intensity. This game feels a bit like a mini mental break between sealing the division and testing themselves against Detroit. 1 1
harryS Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Too satisfied with themselves speech after winning the division. 1
Scott7975 Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Even if we hold em for FGs and answer with TDs we can win this game. We aint gonna be able to punt the ball anymore. They should have went for that 4th and 2. Shows lack of faith in the offense to make 2 yards. When you down 2 scores and your defense isnt stopping a thing then its time to go for it by mid field.

KOKBILLS Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Well... Can I have the 2nd Half Bills please and thank you?...

The couple times we did in the first half, Stafford unloaded the ball early. You want to keep TJ on the field? Fine. Take Hamlin out, go to a one high safety and live with what comes but force them to work for it. This light box, zone defense that we run plays right into the strengths of the Rams offense. I agree with pressing the receivers, should have done that all along. Hard to play 3 LBs against the rams though as they live in 11 personnel. Definitely need to start bringing safeties in the box though and they got to stop playing with 6-7 man boxes all game

Plus the Rams are desperate for a win

YoloinOhio Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Brady is morphing into a chucky doll. Demonic fake smile. 1 1
Maine-iac Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Going to have to play the run tighter. I know we can stop the run. Can we stop the run and keep the Rams WR's in check?
dma0034 Posted December 8 Posted December 8 THe player that tackled the Returner 100% moved early. Just sayin
HappyDays Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Special teams brutal today. Rams intentionally kicking it short knowing they are better than us

boyst Posted December 8 Posted December 8 I am just now seeing this drive and the last drive before the half. Dumb play calling. Predicable.

Stafford's ATT on those 13 passes was surely under 2.5 seconds. He's very good at making quick reads vs. zone. If you want your pass rush to have a chance, you have to first stop the run and then force their receivers to have to get open instead of just running to open spots that are there for the taking.
HappyDays Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Ugh feels like Cook had a lane to run there but got knocked down at first contact
