Sweats Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Alright, you filthy animals, i need you to settle a raging debate we've got going on in my office right now....... If you could only have one, would you want the #1 seed or a fully healthy roster?.......you can only have one. Literally half the office is saying to make a solid push for the #1 seed no matter the outcome and the other half is saying that we're already in the playoffs, so getting our roster as healthy as possible for the postseason should be the number one priority. Your input and feedback are valuable in calming my office down presently. I mean, i like a good debate, however, this may get out of control shortly. Quote
Dave_Bills Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Depends how healthy. This is the nfl. Everyone is hurt to a degree. I’d take the #1 seed and give my team the bye to rest up 3 2 1 Quote
RiotAct Posted December 8 Posted December 8 If the only injuries are to, say, a couple depth players, then the #1 seed for sure. 1 Quote
Einstein Posted December 8 Posted December 8 #1 seed. The extra playoff game can lead to injuries, and the week off heals some injuries. 4 1 Quote
Motorin' Posted December 8 Posted December 8 The idea that you would rest your starters with five games to go with the #1 seed within grasp is ridiculous. If not suggesting that you play backups then how do you angle for a healthy roster? Play less intense to try to avoid injury? That's how I juries happen. The Bills absolutely go the the #1 seed. And at the same time, let players that are injured have a little extra time before coming back. But you don't take the foot off the gas or rest healthy starters. 4 1 Quote
Sojourner Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Got a feeling KC drop this game against the Chargers. Unless we are a whole game clear by week 18 then keep going, trust guys will stay healthy. Quote
Ya Digg? Posted December 8 Posted December 8 1 seed-the bye gives you a chance to rest guys to get them healthy for the playoffs. There’s no guarantee that your players won’t get injured-didn’t Bernard get injured in last year’s game against the Steelers? Also, anything can happen in the playoffs-one extra game is one more game the team could lose. So go for the 1 seed 1 Quote

VaMilBill Posted December 8 Posted December 8 1 seed big time. Not only does it get you to the divisional round automatically, but you do so without having to risk injuries in the wild card round like we did against Pittsburgh last year. I don’t think there is a question. Plus you guarantee all games run through buffalo so long as we win. Quote
loveorhatembillsfan4life Posted December 8 Posted December 8 5 games left is way too many games in my mind to think about this. We can be over protective in not needing to rush Guys back but I think we will be revisiting this more near the end. 1 or 2 seed is an absolute must to get a few home games in Buffalo. Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Give me the 1 seed and AJ Klein all day! 1 Quote
Boatdrinks Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Well, you really don’t get to choose. You hope your roster is fully healthy but there’s not much you can do. As pointed out by others, no one is resting starters with 5 games to go. As long as the #1 seed is in play, no one sits. Quote

boyst Posted December 8 Posted December 8 Detroit is gonna ***** us up if they get the chance. That roster is not a nice roster Quote

QB Bills Posted December 8 Posted December 8 My ideal scenario is the Bills blowing out the Chiefs in arrowhead in the AFC championship so give me the option of being healthy going into the playoffs 2 Quote

So should we just forfeit our last five games to ensure a healthy roster? Or just bring up 20 practice squad players and put all our starters on IR? 1 Quote
