The Bengals are not making the playoffs. it’s over for them.  the teams above aren’t going to lose out or whatever collapse the Bengals need to happen. But if they did play then Bills, chase would go for about 15 receptions 220 yards.

It’s interesting…the Bengals have exactly what everyone here says the Bills need to get over the top: a franchise QB accompanied by a bunch of “difference makers”…Jamar Chase (the ultimate no. 1 receiver), Tee Higgins (the best WR2 in the league), and Trey Henrickson (better than any Bills’ pass rusher since Bruce Smith)…and yet they’re out of the playoffs for the second year in a row.

If we play the Bengals I think we would handle them. But if burrow is hot that can't be ignored. He's the 2nd or 3rd best QB in the NFL and I love his game. Chase and Higgins can take over a game

The one thing the Bengals don't have that the Bills do is a reliably healthy Allen. Burrow's injuries have messed up a couple of seasons.

But your point is valid and may reflect the fact that the NFL is again undergoing a transformation and is rediscovering the importance of a running game and a bend but not break D.  Which makes yesterday's result all the more frustrating as McD's supposed strength is on the defensive side of the ball and that is what failed spectacularly on Sunday.  So now the question is whether or not it was a one off disaster or a sign of things to come.
