NE is a mess. No weapons & bad coaching. Cold weather city.

Miami has the warm weather advantage along with a good QB. The concerns are Hill aging, OL, & whether McDaniel can take the next leap as HC.

Jets are the Jets. I just don't foresee them ever getting it together. 14 years of no postseason is almost impossible to accomplish these days.

I'll say Miami is our closest competition. But I still think the Bills win the division next year for sure.

What do yall think? Bills foreseeable future or some other team?

I'm assuming he means now that the number of playoff teams has been expanded.

I think he means in football.  When you have a crappy GM and a crappy owner, a 14 year playoff drought is easy to accomplish, just ask the Sabres.

I actually disagree on the Patriots. Maye looks like he’s going to be solid at minimum. Mayo is jettisoning guys that don’t fit. Are they there yet? No of course not but I do think they’ll be the next team to challenge us but that will be another 2 or 3 years from now

Yeah even the Dolphins have made it the last two years and they really suck/collapse in a hilarious manner every November/December.

The Patriots AFC East domination was based on Belicheck being arguably the greatest coach of all time and by sheer luck he got matched with the goat at QB.

McDermott by no means is Belicheck but the combo of him and Allen will make it very difficult for the other 3 teams in the division.

Maye might be a legit QB but will he have a coach?  The Jets might stumble into a fantastic coach but will they be trotting out a 42 year old Rodgers or are they going to have to hit on a QB in the draft?  Which they haven’t done since Namath.

And at this point until proven otherwise Miami is the retirement home of the NFL.  Beautiful weather, beautiful women, no taxes.  You don’t go there to grind for a superbowl you go there to win some games and have some fun.

Its going to be tricky for the other 3 teams to overcome both McDermott AND Allen.

If you told me about team outside the Bills won the division in the next three years I'd say it would be the Jets.

They have a good defense. So imagine they nail the Head Coach... like a Ben Johnson type. They draft a QB and start drafting O-Line you could see a rookie with the Wilson, Adams and Hall with a stellar defense. They obviously have to get a lot right.

I see five more games in the 2024 season in the foreseeable future. And the division already wrapped up. But hey, I'm stuck here still in the 2024 season.

New England is in my opinion the teams biggest threat in 2025. Miami is going to be in cap hell which is going to result in them having to errode talent on both sides of the ball and Tua as good as he can run that system is fragile and the team falls apart without him. The Jets are a mess and going to be doing a complete tear down or at least a major retooling. The Pats have the QB or at least a very good prospect at QB and the cap space and picks to invest around a QB. Not saying the Pats are going to be world beaters but they are likely the best of a bad bunch.

Miami will never be competition while they have Tua. He simply isn't good enough and is too limited. He can put up all the stats he wants against bad teams in good weather. That doesn't help him against good teams and playing in the cold weather.

NE will need a few years but they have a QB it looks like and that's what it will take to compete with the Bills.

Jets are nowhere and the Fins can't beat us with Tua.

Bills will not really have any competition for the division for at least 2 more years after this one.

Best coach in the division + best QB in the division = pain for the rest of the division.

Forever and always.
