It looks like they are playing on shag carpeting. I get being a running team. But running on 3rd and mediums/long in your own end is pretty silly to me. On the plus side of the field when it's 4 down territory? Then I would understand Quote

wppete Posted December 6 Posted December 6 Lions Oline looks really bad. We have to take advantage of that…. Their DLine doesn’t look great either. Quote
zow2 Posted December 6 Posted December 6 This Aaron Glenn must be a great Defensive Coordinator. Detroit’s D always looks prepared even though everyone says they are missing great players and should be getting gashed. Maybe GB gets it rolling soon? Quote
Brand J Posted December 6 Posted December 6 1 minute ago, TFBillsfan said: Gotta get consistent pressure on Goff and tackle well on D. Offensively, have to exploit their secondary. Their beatable and if your able to get up early on them it helps mitigate their running game. LaPorta has become the best TE in the draft class. He’s everything we hoped Kincaid would be. Might be the best OL the Bills will have gone against this season. Detroit and Philly both are strong up front. 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted December 6 Posted December 6 My biggest thing is the Lions are going to expend a lot of energy tonight in this game. Divisional game that’s going to be physical and means a lot for both teams. Hard to get up two weeks in a row especially with the Bills, an AFC team coming next week. They do get 10 days though 1 Quote
Brand J Posted December 6 Posted December 6 I’m in agreement that RBs should be paid more. They touch the ball 2nd most on offense AND are asked to pass protect. 1 Quote

Lions have one of the best olines in the game , and green bay knows it, that’s why there playing hard. I hope buffalo can slow there run game down, and get pressure on the QB. 1 Quote

We are going into their house with them on 10 days rest and if they lose this game, an even more determined Lions team is even more dangerous Win or lose, I want this game to turn into a physical divisional dogfight…. Make those extra days not feel like a bye. 1 Quote
Big Turk Posted December 6 Posted December 6 So tired of hearing how RBs are more valued when 3 went from and teams to good teams and the bad teams are doing bad still and the good teams are doing good... Ravens are doing worse with Henry than they did without him last year already with 1 more loss than all of last season. Eagles have the same record with Barkley as they did without him last year. Sure GB is better but that's more about Love's emergence starting in the 2nd half of last year when they went 6-2 after starting 3-6. They also had Aaron Jones last year so it's not like they had a trash RB. This narrative is so ridiculous...I mean good players went to good teams and they are still good...wow, what a surprise. Bad teams lost a good player and are still bad. No surprise there either. 1 1 Quote
mannc Posted December 6 Posted December 6 GB really do not want to try to throw the ball, do they? Quote
zow2 Posted December 6 Posted December 6 Love, what r u doing on the little goal line pass?!? yeah that DPI in the end zone was so blatant Quote
Turf Toejam 34 Posted December 6 Posted December 6 (edited) Love still has much to learn about being a QB. Edited December 6 by Turf Toejam 34 Quote
TFBillsfan Posted December 6 Posted December 6 I don’t care who wins but would like to see a physical game in advance of our game against Detroit. 1 Quote

Can get a guy in the 6th round who can basically give you the same production as a high priced free agent. Plus, everybody platoons now anyway. Quote

RBs are devalued not because running is unimportant. They are devalued because the run blocking matters as much as the back. Quote

The market speaks when it comes to that. It's the easiest replaceable position on offense. Barkley could only average 3.9 ypc last year because the Giants o-line wasn't very good. Now he's averaging 6.1ypc because he's on a better o-line. Quote
