Easily the most potent offense in the league. And they show that they have no problem stacking long drives together.

Goff is going to struggle against the zone concepts of our defense.  If we can at least slow down their running game, we will beat the Lions next week.

When pressured, Goff can look terrible like against the Texans. But besides Groot, who's bringing the heat from us?

What was interesting is Green Bay did as good a job as it is basically possible to do on the Lions run game, but they sold out to play it to the extent they were gashed in the short to intermediate pass game. That is the danger if you just play the run vs this team. Green Bay's O put up points without ever looking like it was fully in rhythm. The Lions Dline won that matchup. This Green Bay team is right there they just need to find a way to break through against a top end team.

Who was up late enough to see them go for it here?  Why risk it and not just take the FG?!

4th & 1 at GB 21

(:43) D.Montgomery right tackle to GB 14 for 7 yards (B.Cox). GB-K.Nixon was injured during the play.

it’s a 38 yard FG to go up 3 with 40 seconds left??  Would they have been 13 seconds’d??

Even Michaels and Herb were dumbfounded that they went for it.  Goff stumbled and barely got handoff completed.  Could have been colossal mistake.  But Dan gonna Dan

It was less than 4th/1; probably measured in inches.

Giving Love the ball back with :40 left probably carried just as much risk as trying to pick up a few inches.

Not a fan of his ultra aggressive style. Cost him a playoff game and almost cost the game yesterday. His unsuccessful attempt  to go for it from deep in their own territory gifted the Pack a TD.

I watched the condensed game version this morning not knowing the score and as soon as I saw them stopped just short I knew he'd go for it. Get the 1st down there and unless you miss a chip shot the game is over, whereas if you kick with 30 odd seconds left Love at least has chance to get in FG range.

You guys are so full of sh*t it isn't even funny.

If Goff slips a bit more and they don't convert -- there isn't a single poster in this thread saying it was the right move. There would be a dozen pages roasting Campbell. Time to promote Ben Johnson!

Absolute clown takes lol

 Background….

they initially thought they had the 1st but video review overturned it.

3rd and short they failed….then burned the clock and called time out.

when they went out with offense and 4 th they could not do the attempt to draw Offside and then call TO. They just called time out so a penalty . They had to snap or take a delay call.

they went for it and got it. Then set up for the final kick of the game.

green bay earlier in the drive after 2 min warning used their TOS so they were out by this point.

On the 4th , Goff tripped over his interior lineman and was falling when handoff occurred.

with about 40 seconds to go if they kicked the FG. Green back would have had about 40s and no time outs to get to DET 40 for a tying FG. Starting from your own 30 , that’s 2 15-20 yd passes.

similar with buffalo did with KC to go for it and hold onto the ball.

reported—  Detroit going for it inside opposing 25 with under a minute and a tie game has occured one other time in some years.

I'll reiterate that I want nothing to do with the Lions in the Superbowl

We'll know for sure after the Bills play them next week.

Let's us game plan better if we face off in the SB if nothing else.

Ya I tried, unfortunately couldn't get connection. Looks like I missed a good one haha

NFLN will replay it.

it was more a 2nd half back and forth. First it was 17-7

gb scored TD

turnover by Detroit

LGB short field TD to take 21-17 lead

DET 24-21

GB 28-24

DET 31-28

GB had the ball in a 1st and goal.  A holding penalty on 2nd down pushed them to the 15 , thry settled for FG

Tied 31

DET gets ball and drives for FG to end game

Detroit doesn’t scare me.  They are a good team.

teams test have played Campbell previously have played them close. Besides their division foes…Tampa, LA, Seattle, SF
