That would like stating government efficiency is a Dem policy. I admit there is not an easy fix for the debacle that has come from Obamacare and it likely will be left for next president because it is not simply reversing Obamacare since we would need to have created some small insurance companies that are illegal currently. 2 hours ago, dgrochester55 said: They might try to say that the Republican party put through a similar plan in 1993, but it is one of those cases where the media and left try to spin something that is slightly based on a grain of truth as fully accurate, indisputable gospel. If would be like saying that Josh Allen was just like JP Losman because they both had a rocket arm while ignoring the other factors that make them clearly different. The link below explains it better. Use your own judgment based on what is says. https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2013/nov/15/ellen-qualls/aca-gop-health-care-plan-1993/ TlDR: The reality is that Multiple bills were proposed including this one which was proposed including one by the more center leaning Republicans with a similar marketplace concept as the ACA, but not really like it otherwise. It wasn't even the one that they picked within the party and most Republicans opposed it. Poltifact says it is half true, but that is being quite generous, to me more like 10-20 percent true Edit: It is also funny how we've been told for over a decade how Obama is the greatest and gets full credit for the plan, but as soon as it is not popular "It was the Repubicians idea", because a few in the party came up with a plan that happened to have a few similarities 30 years ago. 4 hours ago, Orlando Buffalo said: Obamacare is a GOP plan? GOP template I see you are already bailing on the ability of 47 to do better…weak. I know there are more important things he wants to get at right away which will most definitely have both immediate and long lasting benefits. I mean getting rid of vaccines and fluoride, punking enemies with Kash, eliminating the DOE…tariffs, spending billions to remove a work force…..gonna be great to be great again

Do you still think everything Carter said is what the Dems hold dear? As for Trump I said he could not fix it, he will improve it by simply making the VA more efficient.

I find it hilarious how Obama was a hero for 15 years for coming up with it but as soon as it is starting to be undeniably bad to the point where it can be spun by the media as good and unfavorable to the majority, the narrative is suddenly "It WaS rEaLlY tHe RePuBliCanS!" Very similar to how the media was calling Trump uncaring and stingy for not accepting the bloated version of the Dems stimulus packages in 2020, but then blamed for overspending in 2020 and cause the deficit by the very same people four years later. This is just going to feed into the stupid hero narrative. 1
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Is this the kind of garbage this killer was pissed about. I mean the Supreme Court is going to decide if poor people's lives are worth the cost of preventative care, so we will see CNN — The Supreme Court said Friday it will review the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act’s no-cost coverage mandates for certain preventive care services, putting the landmark health care law in front of the justices again just as President-elect Donald Trump – who tried to repeal the law during his first presidency – returns to the White House. While not an existential threat to Obamacare, the case could imperil access Americans have to cost-free preventive treatments and services, including HIV prevention medications, heart statins and various screenings for cancers and other diseases. The cost of some of these preventive services can be substantial, which would deter some people – particularly those with lower incomes – from accessing the care and slow the early detection of potentially deadly illnesses. Related article Supreme Court signals it will uphold ban on TikTok over national security concerns and other takeaways from oral arguments The 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the mandates in question, based on the recommendations of the US Preventive Services Task Force, violated the Appointments Clause of the Constitution because its members are not appointed by the president with Senate confirmation. The 5th Circuit’s ruling was directed at no-cost coverage requirements implemented after Obamacare’s enactment in March 2010.

If the patient doesn't pay then the taxpayers do through programs like Medicare and Medicaid. I've said it a couple times PPP. The American heath care system is extremely expensive with some of the worst results of all developed economies. It isn't because of a lack of talent and skill from front line doctors, nurses, health care providers, social workers, or many others. It's because the system is comprised of cost maximizing monopolies at every point in the system. Because its government spending of other peoples money spent on somebody else. In the case of this type os spending neither cost or quality matter. Add in a chronically unhealthy population with a lot of bad habits and comorbidities and you get a society this is sick, fat, out of shape and prone to illnes resulting in a high level of medical interventions and needs. 1

The murderer is an insane, unhinged, crazy loser who despite significant economic advantages in life chose to stalk and murder an individual he never met, spoke with, or engaged with on any level. He is also apparently dumb as a stump, leaving clues to his identity that lead to his capture after just a few days in a country as massive as ours is. Finally, the reports go he was shaking like a leaf when identified, making him the perfect heroic figure for individuals inclined to worship such people. “Pissed” isn’t part of the equation. 1

It’s your right to worship that lunatic—there were people who felt the same about Charles Manson, Ted Kaczynski and a long list of losers. Just don’t be disappointed when people point it out. According to your link, the question revolves around the constitutionality of certain provisions of the ACA. This is how disputes are resolved, not by a bunch of fan boys cheering the murder of a guy in the most cowardly way possible. 1
