United Health Care Exec Assassinated in NYC

Kinda surprised no thread on this, given that it doesn't seem to be a random act of violence, but rather a targeted kill.

I've heard people say it was a professional hit because of the shooter's calm demeanor. Also heard conflicting reports that he collected the casings in his hand and none were left behind vs that  there was stuff written on casings found at the scene.

I got my money on it being something like a child died and his company had previously refused to pay for some treatment.

I am actually surprised at how many liberals are on Twitter praising the murder. Liberals were thrilled to ensure that every single American had to deal with these guys. It is almost like no one hates liberal ideas in action as much as liberals.

That's less than many people pay for annual health insurance premiums.

They whole country is united in aggressively not caring that this dude was murdered.

This guy's death has ignited the conversation on whether the "systemic deaths" brought about by the health care system/insurance companies (denied coverage/treatments and bankrupting families while CEOs seem to roll around in unimaginable wealth) are less meaningful than the CEO's.

 

So people are asking why is THIS guy's death so important that it gets massive media coverage and a huge police response, while the average person dies quietly because their treatment would be 'out of network' or 'not covered' etc.
