It was a children's cancer charity I believe. Kinda like Trump U. All scams. But you go ahead and support them. Great people they are. This is all the Libs have left for talking points? lol. 1

If you feel the tax burden in NYS is too high why do you stay? I am sorry that you feel the government has screwed you so badly, but I pay my taxes fully and have literally never taken any deductions beyond the standard, even the year I gave a car away, because I did not get the proper documentation of who received it. I stay because of my wife, she never wanted to leave her parents and I didn't want to make her leave. I would have been gone before we had kids. I said before I would give him a chance. I don't have much hope for him but maybe he will surprise me. I'm not really in the mood to argue for four years. 12 minutes ago, IrishLass said: This is all the Libs have left for talking points? lol. Now that's funny. I listed just a few things, I could go on, but it's not worth it. I don't have to prove anything trump does. The joke will be on you.
All_Pro_Bills Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I expect the legal premise behind "preemptive" pardons is going to face some legal challenges. What if one of these individuals killed 10 people in, say, 2018? Well, too bad, they can't be prosecuted because they were pardoned for anything and everything they did before 1/20/25 and can't be charged, tried, and convicted of any crime.

Or the promise of a pardon going forward. What's to stop Trump from bringing in staff to purposely commit crimes behind the scenes knowing that they'll just receive a preemptive pardon at the end of his term? I mean that would be par for the course for Hitler, right? Seems like during Trump 45 we were constantly being told the administration was crawling with criminal activists who could have used preemptive pardons....yet it didn't happen.

BillsFanNC Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 Former FBI Dir. Chris Wray to Biden, in a Jan 10th letter: "I hope these letters are unnecessary, and that you are not considering a pardon or commutation," he wrote. "But on behalf of the FBI family, and out of an abundance of caution, I want to make sure our position is clear: Peltier is a remorseless killer, who brutally murdered two of our own–Special Agents Jack Coler and Ronald Williams. Granting Peltier any relief from his conviction or sentence is wholly unjustified and would be an affront to the rule of law." npr.org/2025/01/20/g-s… 1
Doc Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Did any of the rumored Repubs asking for pardons before Trump left Office the first time actually ask for them? Or was that more "anonymous sources"?

The easiest successful objections start by showing the person could not have been the person in charge of the auto pen at the time of signing. 2
