(Except I have concern about the health of many of us if it's a 1 point squeaker. Not sure my heart can handle it.) I honestly don't know if I would make it through the game if it was close the whole time and we had either goal line D or O on the field to either win/lose lol. 1 Quote

Obviously I want them to win it, but I am so sick of the "is Josh mvp?" arguments and the "Josh is overrated" Yada Yada. All of that goes away once they get to the superbowl, win or lose. Kc has been sketchy this season, but nobody is batting an eye because look at what they've done in the past. Same goes for Cinci, they've done nothing since their superbowl a few years ago, but burrow is pretty highly regarded (rightfully so, he's really good). So get to the superbowl I say. Then I'll stress about who we play I don't agree that Cinci's done nothing since their SB appearance. They crushed the Bills in OP, giving us our most lop-sided home playoff loss in team history, and then lost on a FG with 3 seconds left in the AFCG. That's closer to getting back to the SB then the Bills have been in the Josh Allen era. Quote
Billsfanatic8989 Posted December 6 Posted December 6 I feel like we wouldn't need to be perfect in the red zone against a team like Seattle. Whereas not scoring TD's against the Lions could lead to us getting our doors blown off. So yes, easier matchup please. Either way, whoever we play, I don't think it will be a huge mismatch. Like we faced against those Dallas & Washington teams from the 90's. 3 hours ago, Johnnycage46 said: I honestly don't know if I would make it through the game if it was close the whole time and we had either goal line D or O on the field to either win/lose lol. RiotAct Posted December 6 Posted December 6 I’d prefer the Seahawks, Falcons or Commanderskins, personally Quote
JoshAllin Posted December 6 Posted December 6 I mean besides the obvious, I'd say the Lions are a favorable matchup vs the bills with the amount of man defense they run Quote
GoBills! Posted December 6 Posted December 6 I hope we play whoever we can beat on that day. Beat them Bigly 😆 yuuuuhhhgggggeee win. 🏆 Quote

Wouldn’t diminish winning it for me. 💯 I want the 7th seed with a 9-8 record who win three in a row miraculously despite scoring 21 points per game. Quote

Ethan in Cleveland Posted December 7 Posted December 7 Anyone but Seattle. My son still loves that team even though he is genetically programmed to love the Bills. Quote
ExiledInIllinois Posted December 7 Posted December 7 Bills did wear "Silver & Blue" for the 1960 season. Just saying! Quote
BigDingus Posted December 7 Posted December 7 I think everyone agrees, but the Super Bowl STORY would be much more fun with a Bills vs Lions Super Bowl. Obviously, as long as the Bills make the Super Bowl we'd all be happy. But most of the country is sick of watching teams that have many Super Bowl trophies to their name face off against other teams with many Super Bowl trophies to their name. It would be so much more fun to have 2 teams both competing for their FIRST. No matter the outcome, a historically impoverished team finally gets over the hump. And although I'd be sad if the Bills lost, it wouldn't feel as bad as something like losing to the Cowboys a 3rd time. Quote
Harold Jackson Posted December 7 Posted December 7 Lions won't make it anyway. They beat the Rams and Packers because they were able to use the run. Once a game is really tight and they need Goff to pass. He'll fail like he always does. And the fact is, QBs who lose a first SB and go to another team, never make it back. 11 minutes ago, BigDingus said: I think everyone agrees, but the Super Bowl STORY would be much more fun with a Bills vs Lions Super Bowl. Aesthetically it would be a horrible visual. Quote

A Bills/Eagles Super Bowl would be rough in the family for example. A nice thing about a Bills/Lions Super Bowl is that, minimally, some well deserving fan base achieved their dreams. If push comes to shove I don't care and just want the Bills to win it, but if you let me choose an opponent I will. Tell me we are winning and I won't care who we play. Whether they have injuries, the refs miss a call, their stud has a bad day, the ball just bounces our way. I don't care about any of that if we winf. Tell me we lose and that is my nightmare scenario because I do not want the division I like the least to have a chance to complete the sweep. Give me the Lions any day, if we lose to them at least their fan base wins. I know there are some don't want a Lombardiless franchise to get one before us but I would rather that than another loss to the NFC East. Quote
