Maybe said before but I noticed in Josh's Wednesday PC he calls Brady "Joe" last year he mention "Dorsey" years past "Daboll"... Comfort level is there by the way he addresses his OC... Seems trivial but noticeable

He used to call Daboll "Dabes" a lot in fairness.

You are right, it does seem trivial, real trivial.

It may have more to do with the team building concept they have. The players have bought into it, the newly signed players all mention how things are different in Buffalo.. And we have heard MCDermott emphasize the team comraderie.

SO maybe the 1st name basis is more Joe wanting to be part of the team building process and asking the team to call him by his 1st name instead of Coach or Coach Brady

Okay 'Dabs' I grant that but he never seemed comfortable with Dorsey... and I'm the definition of trivial

Since your screen name is "Huh? What?" I feel like we need to type our responses to you in all caps so you can hear us!🤪

I'll admit it, I was half expecting a story about them playing fortnight during sleepovers with matching pj's and race car bunk beds...

That's Josh and Hailee

I hope this helps you out:

It was a chilly Friday night in December, the snow piling high outside. Josh’s cabin was warm and welcoming, a fire crackling in the stone hearth. Inside, the smell of freshly baked cookies filled the air, courtesy of Joe, who had a hidden talent for baking.

“Alright, big guy,” Joe said, setting a tub of mint chocolate chip ice cream on the coffee table. “Game plan for tonight: ice cream, movies, and absolutely no football talk.”

Josh grinned, sprawling out on the oversized couch. “You got it, coach. But I’m calling dibs on the last scoop.”

Joe laughed. “You always call dibs, and yet I’m the one who ends up with the empty bowl.”

As the night went on, they fell into their usual rhythm—teasing, laughing, and sharing stories. Josh grabbed the ice cream spoon, scooped a generous bite, and held it out to Joe.

“Come on, Joe. Open wide. You deserve this one for putting up with me.”

Joe rolled his eyes but leaned forward, accepting the spoonful. “You’re terrible, you know that?”

Josh smirked. “And yet, here you are.”

This is Josh "Deez Nuts" Allen... you just know he's setting him up for a Joe Momma joke down the line somewhere.

I think this has merit.  On the Brady Bunch, the family was really close and they would always use one another's first names instead of just saying "Brady".  The maid would refer to Mr. Brady and Mrs. Brady sometimes but with the children she always used first names.

Yeah, very possible.

Also possible that they all realize that in football, the Bills OC, is not the guy most think of first when the name Brady is mentioned.

I personally have made that mistake when reading a bunch of times.

It would have been funnier if Allen called him dogballs.  Rare Allen miss
