Just Jack Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Saw this article, I'll list them out below, but the link gives reasons for their picks. Some of them I feel a lot of people will disagree with. Home Alone 3 (1997) 5. The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006) 6. A Madea Christmas (2013) 7. Deck the Halls (2006) 8. Unaccompanied Minors (2006) 9. Jack Frost (1998) 10. Steve O Posted December 4 Posted December 4 It's a Wonderful Life (1946) I mean, it's a great movie and all, but my life sucks, so screw Jimmy Stewart and his damn angel. Quote
bills_fan Posted December 4 Posted December 4 IMHO most of the movies on that list are pure trash. But a Christmas Story is my all time fav and I do not really see anything wrong with Polar Express. Quote
Sweats Posted December 4 Posted December 4 It's a tradition in our house to gather around and watch Santa Claus Conquers the Martians every Christmas.......well, for me and my son anyways, my wife poo poos it. 1 1 Quote

Success Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Maybe not the right thread for this, but the ending of "Frosty" always rubbed me the wrong way. The snowman that comes out of that puddle? It is NOT FROSTY. He doesn't remember anything. It's a brand new snowman. And we're supposed to feel good about that. Quote
BillsPride12 Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Love actually sucked. Can't believe that movie has a big fanbase Quote

The Jokeman Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Little Drummer Boy (Rankin Bass) might be the worst and not a fan of Polar Express. 1 Quote

Not to mention he’s a fraud that gets the kids hopes up with promises of good times just to leave them hanging and bail. Hate Frosty. 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Lot of movies on there are solid. All those Home Alone sequels are actually decent movies. They aren’t as good as the Culkin movies, but they hold together. Christmas with the Kranks is good. Love Actually is great and one of the first ensemble movies of that genre. A Christmas Story is obviously a classic. whoever wrote this list doesn’t regularly watch hallmark, lifetime, or Netflix Christmas movies. There are some real duds on those channels. 1 Quote

There are some real duds on those channels. We watched the Hallmark/Chiefs movie. It was ok, but the scenes with Donna Kelce felt so forced. There's also a Lifetime version of Taylor/Travis called "Christmas In The Spotlight". It was so bad, probably the worst Christmas movie I've seen so far this year. A Madea Christmas is a decent movie, like a cross between a Tyler Perry/Madea movie and a Hallmark Christmas movie. 1 Quote

Goes To School was pre Billy Madison but could have been so much more. 1 Quote
