This isn't an indictment on how we feel about Hamlin, Rapp, Bishop, or Lewis". He also said he expects Hamlin and Rapp to remain starters. On brand… 1 Quote

BuffaloBillsGospel2014 Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Hyde looked completely washed even when he was healthy. I highly doubt this is anything more than a leadership role or for when we win the SB he’ll finally get his much deserved ring. Quote

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted December 4 Posted December 4 This is actually pretty awesome. I know it’s very insignificant but I really hope when contracts come up and we have a spot that Tyrod comes back for 1 more year to back josh up. Get that guy a run before he retires Quote
NeverOutNick Posted December 4 Posted December 4 I am so pumped right now! Hamlin is by far our biggest liability in coverage. Hyde and Rapp combo will be HUGE in the playoffs. 1 Quote
RichStadiumGuy Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Now here's a guy... oh wait... they brought him back 4 days too late for that! Quote

That said, I'm not sure he's anything like the player he was, and I don't expect him to be displacing any starter unless and until something happens. Edited December 4 by Dr. K 3 Quote

He plays soundly within the system and for the most part does what he is supposed to do. I equate Hamlin's play to that of Mark Kelso during the early 90s. He does a serviceable job but he doesn't impact the game. If Micah Hyde is healthy and in shape, he impacts the game. He made a few interceptions that impacted games because he was in the right spot and didnt drop the ball. Otherwise I agree. Quote
RobbRiddick Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Noooooooooooooooo! We've never been to a Super Bowl with him on the team. He's clearly a jinx Quote
