Right but they were tight lipped... nothing.. but the signs... then quiet, then chatter.. I was like I don't know what to make of this.. kinda one of those you shouldn't be surprised yet you are...

I mean if its the PS for now thats perfectly fine. Gives him time to get back into football shape and to acclimate back. I have no idea what the plan is for him. Does he eventually take over for Hamlin or is he there more to be a mentor and locker room guy for a guy like Bishop.

Thank god!!! I had a feeling he would be returning before the playoffs! Hopefully he is fully healthy and rested and ready to go. Get Hamlin out of there!

Nice...but I don't think he will play unless one of them gets hurt...Rapp and Hamlin have played well for the most part, especially Rapp.

Hamlin has been Mediocre at best. Rapp on the other hand is having a great season so far. Cant wait to see Rapp and Hyde back there as the Safeties.

I wonder how the other players feel about doing all the work and getting playing time cut - I mean maybe it's a non issue but interesting side dynamic

Poyer likely gets the same treatment someday. Maybe even next year.

Nope. Poyer's range is gone.  Micah could still run a little the last time we saw him.  His issue was and probably still is his neck.

Hamlin's been a (mostly) mistake free "replacement level" player.  You can do a lot worse so kudos to him, but he's just physically limited.  We're seeing his ceiling right now.

Good head on him, but not a viable long term starter.
